These are great shoes that you can wear in 12the river while fishing. Dries quickly. Plus look nice too so you can wear with regular clothes.

The shoes work great. Tried them out fishing offshore this weekend with great success. My feet dried quickly after getting and they were super comfortable.

I have owned many pairs of water shoes over the years and most were a disappointment. These shoes are the best I have ever worn! They are still hard on the bottom but they drain immediately, allow a through "wash out" at the showers and still look good after a day in the boat. I even had people in the dock-side restaurant tell me "nice shoes." They do hold sand at the beach because it has mesh on the outside but everything holds sand at the beach

I've been on the water for years whether it be bass fishing, bobber fishing with the kids, or pulling a tube from the boat. I have gone thru numerous pairs of watershoes to only them lose their grip, fall apart, or not fit properly. These are by far the best shoes I have worn on the lake'

I was looking for your typical tourist water shoe as we were heading to Kauai for vacation. Not knowing exactly what we were going to do, I knew we were going to be active at one of the wettest places on Earth. As a Greater Rewards member, I received an email from Columbia touting the Drainmaker 3D. They were not like the previous editions as they were lower profile and just looked better to me. I took a chance and purchased a pair as they were the best looking water shoe on the market, in my opinion. Our first adventure took us tubing down a pineapple plantation river. It was a bit muddy getting to the tube launch and once in, I saw the first drainage action; the water just flowed through the drain holes in the soles. The footbed material is more hard foam so water does not soak into material (the overall knit stayed wet but was not sopping). The 3Ds performed as they should and by the end of the tube ride, my shoes were dry. I also hiked the east side of the island in search of waterfalls. We found a small river and hiked upstream, usually traversing the shallows in an effort to hike the path of least resistance. The traction was excellent and my feet were not sitting in a puddle as we hiked. We found the waterfall and I had no problems walking through the slippery rocks to get to the swimming hole. We also found a stand-up paddle board rental shop off the beach in Hanalei Bay, a bit upstream of river feeding into the ocean. I thought about taking my shoes off but figured I would try with them on first. Again, traction was excellent. I was much more stable with the shoes on as I paddled and my feet were dry within minutes as the sun beat down on us. I would actually dip my feet into the water just so I could cool down. I received comments from a lot of people saying how great they looked (Magic Blue matched my shorts perfectly) and was asked so many times where I purchased them. I think Columbia owes me a commission. Don't expect a super soft cushiony ride with these as they need a semi-rigid footbed to allow drainage. But the soles were surprisingly very comfortable and I wore them most of my trip. These are not your dad's water sandals. These provide form and function in every sense of the words. Go get'm!

I have used these shoes at water parks, ocean, lake, kayaking, and in rivers. They are very comfortable, fit they same way all my other Columbia shoes fit and don't tear up your feet the way other water shoes do. I only have one complaint and that is the lugs on the bottoms aren't very deep. When in a river with slippery rocks they didn't have the perfect amount of traction. Other then that great shoe!

I absolutely love the shoe but I had to change to stretchable laces due to the fact the shoe is very narrow

I really liked you can use the shoe not only to be in the water. Really comfortable to my opinion.

Almost the perfect water shoe. Great comfort, fit, and style. The only thing I would change is the laces to something like the Salomon Quicklace System, but if that isn't going to happen, then shorter laces would be nice. The ones it comes with are waaaaaay too long for the shoes and leave huge loops when you tie them.

Pros: Good show for pool, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling Cons: Tends to rub the feet when walking, hiking or biking due to the costruction of the drainage holes. The holes are not flush on the inside of the shoe and the ridges tend to rub your feet and toes. Overall it's a very specialized shoe that works well for the above mentioned activities but it is not a one shoe does it all kind of shoe.
