These shoes are ok -- cute enough, and the sole is somewhat flexible. Just a little bit more shoe than a toddler should ideally be wearing for best foot development. The soles are a little too thick to feel the ground well underneath, and the heel is slightly raised

My son has a wide foot and can be a tough fit - but these shoes fit him great. It's so great that Stride Rite offers these in wide. They're easy to get on, which is a bonus and he loves them! They are very stylish and look great. I'm really pleased with these shoes. The only complaint I have is that some of the stitching on the front of the shoe came apart in the first week... otherwise, these seem to be holding up well to the rigors of a 2 year old!

All of the edges are so rough that it is impossible to wear them as sandals without socks. My son has worn this style from other companies and there were soft cloth seams inside. These are seamed with the outside plastic part.

My 4 year son loves them! Looks forward to wearing them every day and they've held up great.

Bought these a little big so they wouldn’t be outgrown too fast. There is a little rubbing on the heel so they are being broken in with some socks until it warmer. But the XW fits great, the Velcro helps secure the fit. Overall a quality SR sneaker/sandal, nice flexibility and traction!

These fit just as other wide width Stride Rite shoes and look adorable on our little guy. I would mention that the orange is definitely neon and it did not appear that way through the website. That seemed to be appealing to our little one, but others might not be as thrilled. We love these sandals!

My toddler has a high instep and we have the hardest time finding any style shoe/boot that’s easy to get on and are comfortable for him to wear. We LOVE these sandals! The grip and cushion of the sole is perfect for an active kid and the velcro top makes it easy to put on. We ordered the wide and haven’t seen any running. The fabric is nice and soft around all the seams. A perfect option for our busy little one on hot days, when other sandals are too flimsy and socks + sneakers are too hot.

Cute and comfy for my LO with wide feet. Only complaint is there you can't wash them. He has sweaty little feet so they're stinky. Note to self to buy the washable kind next time. Oh, and they run half to a full size big. He'd gotten fitted at the StrideRite store so we knew what size he was and yet these were huge!

Even with this being a wide width shoe, it did not fit. The opening is wide but the front/top of the shoe does not adjust or have any give at all so we had to return.

So I ordered a wide in these shoes and they were not wide at all! My sons screams his head off every time I put these on him. I wish I had returned them but thought he would just get use to them, but this is not the case. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Our third pair of Marina sandals. Cool for the summer but still provides plenty of coverage for toddler toes. Great fit for wide feet!

Very cute sneaker/sandal. I ordered the wrong size at first, which is why I'm so glad I ordered through Zappos and not straight from Stride Rite. Zappos makes returns/exchanges SO easy!

Versatile, well-made shoes in cheerful colors for toddlers. These run a bit big, especially considering that they can be worn without socks, but that can be a good thing for chubbier toddler feet.

Very cute. Runs smaller and narrower even the wide option. So take a size larger especially if you plan to wear socks. Unfortunately has to return and was unable to purchase a larger size due to orange and gray option out of stock

My toddler loved these at first sight - the gray and bright orange are perfect for summer! He says they’re comfy and the sole is very flexible. He did get a blister at the back of his foot wearing it the first day but he hasn’t complained since.

Just a tad large

My son is in size 9 shoes right now and so I bought these in size 9. They might be a tiny bit too long but if we went down a size they probably would be too tight. My son seems to like them. They aren't the easiest to get on or off because you have to maneuver the velcro strap through the middle part to loosen it. My son wore them for about an hour and when I took them off of him he did have some red marks on the top of his feet and on his ankle. He wears size wide shoes and these sandals seem wide enough for him, perhaps the part that is on the top of his feet is too tight though. I'm not sure if I want to send them back or not...
