Customer Reviews Merrell Sandspur Slide Leather

I loved the style, but I had to try to shrink the leather via water submersion and then leaving them in the sun to dry (because I knew that sending them back and getting a size 8 would have been way too small). Only helped a little. I had to buy a size 9, as first pair (size 10, which I Normally wear) was way too big. The issue is that the leather strap was far too high on the right foot. The left foot fit great. I feel like I wasted the $75 or so that I paid for them, and now only use them as pool sandals. I love MERRELL, but I would not buy these again. I went with Olukai's that fit firm, and true to size.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on. They're soft, sturdy feeling, and feel snug without being tight on my fairly wide Hobbit feet. The soles seem so far to have incredbile traction too. As for arch support, I don't notice any but at least for me this isn't bothersome.

Snug at first but this is my second pair so they will conform. I had the first for 8 years! Great classy slide. Leather is supple & clean looking style.

I've had a pair of Merril's similar to this one and haven't been able to find another one. This one fits the bill perfectly with style and comfort. Thanks very much.
