The quality is excellent but not impressed with the design.

Right shoe has a stitch or seem running across the bridge that is larger than the left, and digs into the skin.

I ordered the 10.5 in D width, like all my other AE shoes. The fit is bizarre, the shoe is super long and narrow, looks like I'm wearing a clown shoe with an inch of extra room at the toe. Returning today.

Uncomfortably narrow. I sized up a half size and still felt after wearing them they would need to stretch out. But that hasn't happened, and now they're scuffed and I can't return them. Not AE's best make.

Too narrow. AE needs to expand its width offerings to shoes like this.

As others have said, the color of the shoes (at least for mocha) do NOT match the photos. In reality the brown is very dull, and they have darker brown toes. Much harder to "dress down" that the shoes in the image. The color/finish gives them a completely different style.
Fit-wise, they're pretty narrow. My feet are slightly wide, but not wide enough to order wide sizes generally. With these I ordered a wide and they fit perfectly (I actually ordered both standard width and wide, but am keeping the wide).

Not the AE my grand fathers or fathers. I have a pare of AE I bought when I was 22. Still have them after 28 years. My Grandfather was buried in his favorite pare he had for 40 years. My father also has AE from 30 plus years ago. Their quality has gone way down. If these last 2 years I will be amazed.

Top of the foot and back of the heel get crushed in this shoe to the point of tearing flesh. Leather needs to be softened. Not satisfied.

The craftsmanship is solid and leather beautiful like my other AEs. However the top of this shoe was way too restrictive. It dug into the top of my foot and made them unwearable.
If this is your only Allen Edmonds purchase give their other shoes another shot!

I received a pair today and would recommending avoiding these. They soles were covered in a white film from the factory. I have several AE shoes, all the same size, and the upper on these was painfully tight with zero flex.

I would have given 0 stars if that was an option. I have 9 pairs of AE's that are all the same size (11.5 D). After wearing them a few times they all became exceptionally comfortable and well worth the cost. These are the exception. Loafers should be exceptionally comfortable but these never will be because they are dramatically off on the sizing. I haven't tried a different size in these but my guess is the only way they would be even wearable (let alone comfortable) would be to get them in a 11 EEE. Very disappointed and will never wear them.

Very uncomfortable. Tight on top of foot and heal digs in. Stitching has begun to fray on day one.

I could not be more disappointed. The Interstate 90 loafer was the absolute best shoe ever made, sadly they were discontinued . This loafer is unattractive and cheaply made. I wore them once and sent to Goodwill. This is my last pair of AE!

Good luck.

He been one of my favorite shoes. I was surprised to see my heels were black after the first time I wore them (first time that had happened). Hopefully ownership is not sacrificing quality for cost.

I so looked forward to wearing this nice shoe but, no-way would it fit without gapping widely & not stable by any means. Sad!

These are not good driving shoes at all! Firstly the soles are too stiff and therefore dont have the same feel on the pedals that other drivers have. More importantly however is that unlike every other driver ive had, the rubber does not go up the back of the shoe. That does not seem like a big deal however the smooth leather just slides on the mat of your car and you find yourself having to keep an awkward tenseness to your leg to just hold your foot in position of the pedal. Even a regular soled non-driver will not cause this problem but to have this happen on a purpose built driver is inexcusable. If you have to drive more that 15 minutes you will go crazy. These shoes are the anti-driver. Shame on allen edmonds.

As many others have stated, the fit of this shoe is terrible. The shoe is long and narrow. I have tried to wear to break the shoe in - however, the leather is very firm and will not break in. I have tried removing the insert as others have suggested but that does not help much. I find it unacceptable, to have to remove the insert in a shoe at this price point for it to feel remotely comfortable.
These shoes are very uncomfortable to the point that I am unable to wear.

These are available only in D and EEE while my size is E. I ordered a pair of EEE but they were too wide and I felt unstable, particularly since the sole does not extend to the edge of the shoe. Returned without wearing.
