I ordered these for our Peloton bike. When I first started riding, I figured I would just use my wife's shoes since they are left clipped into the bike and our sizes are not too different. Well, after 2 months of riding I realized my feet were killing me due to the original shoes. Not a slight against Peloton, because I knew the shoes were too small. I figured I would try to order something similar to my running shoes for the bike. The catch is that I need a wide shoe, and those are hard to find for cycling. Anyway, ordered these and also ordered a set of Look Delta cleats off Amazon. You will need to order cleats-the shoes don't come with them. For Peloton, use the Look Delta style. They run about $15. Also, be sure to watch a video on how to install them if you are new to this process. I didn't realize they have very specific ways of being fitted. I suggest watching this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7sPtsevR9w as it was very thorough. Now, for the shoes. WOW, what a difference! I wound up ordering a 43 wide, versus the 41 regular my wife had and the difference was incredible! These shoes have very soft sides and I almost don't notice them at all when wearing them. The little BOA adjustment on the top strap is different (kinda odd, so 4 stars for style) but seems to work just fine. I had a great ride this morning with my new shoes and am looking forward to many more. They are so comfortable. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable cycling shoe, especially in a wide, for a Peloton bike, I highly recommend these!

Shimano is the only game in town if you’ve got wide feet, and they deliver. I have owned a pair of Shimano RC7 shoes for my Peloton bike, and recently put SPD cleats on those shoes for spin classes at the gym. This pair just arrived and I just took them for their first ride on my Peloton bike. My impression so far is outstanding. Installing the cleats is very easy (as is standard, cleats aren’t included). Adjusting cleats to fit works very well and it’s easy to tighten them very firmly onto the shoe. Shimano makes both Look Delta cleats (used by Peloton, for example) as well as 3-screw SPD cleats. I use Delta’s on these shoes and SPD’s on my other Shimano shoes, and they’re both trouble-free to attach and adjust. The sole is extremely rigid. They fit my wide feet well, true to size, and I can exert powerful up-strokes with little movement of my foot inside the shoe. The Boa system works well, although it’s a little different from the RC7 shoe in that the Boa only closes the top of the shoe and not across the center of the foot. This gives a slightly looser fit for the upstroke and there was a little looseness, but I think this will resolve itself as the shoes break in and I tighten the Velcro fastener across the center of my foot. I wouldn’t say this is worse, only different and in some ways it’s better. You can still release the Boa and get the shoe off easily. Getting a good fit with cycling cleats is challenging, especially with wide feet, and Shimano does an outstanding job. With a cycling shoe, you can’t just wear the shoes a bit loose to make up for the wrong fit, because you won’t get any power in your pedal strokes. I’m confident that I’ll be able to tighten these down and get good solid pedal upstrokes without any discomfort. Right now, I prefer these to the RC7’s, which tend to bite into my foot a little with the top of the tongue. The solid, flat black looks good and I expect these shoes will break in well.

This shoe will not use a SPD cleat.

After foot pain started to creep in from the shoes I was renting from the spin studios, I knew it was because of the narrow widths. I am a 10.5 W in most shoes (11 in Nike). I thought the 10.5 E was a perfect fit and the pain I was experiencing has disappeared. The 11 was too long so I felt like this was true to size. I had the cycle studio install the Delta cleats for $20. Remember, those don't come with the shoe and it will depend on the type of bike you are going to be using.

LOVE this shoe. Had to find the right size- a year ago our local bike shop fitted (a joke actually) me with the wrong size bike shoe. IT MATTERS. This shoe in one size larger than the first ill fitted shoe is a dream. the sensory neuropathy I thought I was getting is GONE with this shoe. The shoe is soft sided with lots of toe room. There are aeration opportunities top and botton with the shoe. It was EASY to put the clips on myself. I use the shoes on my Peleton bike and it has made a major difference for me. The BOA clips are neat, too, easy in, easy out, and totally adjustable. There is a big difference in the lower priced shoes and these. I suspect the $250 shoes might be even better but for me, these shoes are a dream and I'm not looking any farther! I have a long, narrow heel, wide toe foot with my second toe longer than my first (about 20%? of people have this) and this shoe accomodates all of that)

Actually, the problem is that my bike store told me what size to get and boy were they wrong. Should not have been surprised since I bought the first pair of bike shoes from them and they never really fit. However, this is an incredible shoe and I am ordering one size down which I think is correct. Feels really comfortable. Works with the LOOK clips. You will not be able to walk on this shoe off the bike but I am going to use it with my Peleton so that is not an issue. Really nice shoe. It probably is true to size but is not the size for my foot so I can't say much about that.

My husband is really liking the fit of these shoes compared to his old pair. He says the are flexible yet stable at the same time. We are happy with this purchase.

The shoes are really comfortable with all 360 degree feet positions. I use it with Shimano clits and Ultegra pedals. Beware, the size of bike shoes usually require 1 or 1.5 size bigger than normal shoes.

Good foot length and heel fit except toe box too narrow.-
