This jacket fit well and was comfortable with a hydration pack over it. The zipper allowed ventilation to cool and the hood provided warmth when winds kicked up at higher altitudes.

The Stormy Trail jacket has been such an essential piece of running gear for me. New England winters and New Hampshire ridgelines call for year round use. This works perfect for both. Great stretch and range of motion. Unzip the pockets for ventilation. Reflective hits everywhere for safety. Great for even casual use. Really impressed with the quality of material. So stretchy, waterproof, decently breathable.

Very nice lightweight rain jacket. An adjustment for the hood and a silver zipper contrast would make it perfect

I love North Face products but this one did not perform as advertised. I bought it to have a breathable rain jacket to wear in warmer weather. I wore it several times in temperatures ranging from the upper 40's to the mid-60's. Regardless of the temperature, the jacket did not ventilate. Heat built up and the sleeves would cling to the sweat on my arms. I can't imagine wearing this for a run or hike in warmer weather. It looks sharp and fits well, but other than running errands when it's raining I won't get much use out of it.
