Love this shoe! As with all Naots in their Elegant line, it has a narrower footbed and generally runs a size smaller. I am a solid 7.5/38, but in the Naot Elegant line I always wear a 39. I listed the width as true because of the adjustable strap, but if your foot is on the wider side, the strap closest to your toes may be too tight since this is Naot's medium to narrow line. This shoe offers great support; it's comfortable right out of the box; it's adjustable; it's versatile; and the foot bed is great. Unlike some of the nubuck Naots that are more casual, the shinier braided leather allows this shoe to be dressed up or down. I know I will get a lot of wear out of these, and I hope Naot will continue to make this style. I'd love to see it in more colors!

WHY it had to be a SHINY sandal? PLease make it matt ! Its wide BTW, good thing there's velcro to make it narrow. Healthy material. Didnt care for the brown color, other 2 colors are beautiful. The red is deep red/wine color. I had been searching and ordering so many sandal n avoided these cuz i thought this weave and shiny style is for old ppl. It doesnt look that bad. I still dont prefer it but really didnt care for the SHINE! NAOT is famous for making Either UGLY comfortable shoes or Beautiful Uncomfortable shoes. Same thing applies to men shoes.

I wish these sandals fit me, but unfortunately the strap that goes over the toes is way too loose. I have many other Naot sandals and have never had this problem before. I will have to try a different style that doesn't have the non-adjustable strap going over the toes. Very disappointing

Perfect sandal. I have a high instep and have difficulty with shoes that go across the top of my foot. These have Velcro to adjust the band. The footbed is comfy. These are probably not shoes to wear all day but they are comfortable right out of the box. I recommend!

Soooo cute in the brown weave, and true to size (buy the same size as your foot). This was my first pair of Naot sandals, and I can’t believe people said they were comfortable. Wrong!!! The footbed liner is flimsy without any cushioning. The cork bed and outer sole is too hard and stiff. They barely flex. No way these offer any shock absorption when walking on floors or concrete. The outer sole ruins the comfort of this shoe. No idea if “maybe” they’d get better with wear, but there’s many other brands that are instantly comfortable straight out of the box. Naot is NOT one of those brands.

The Naot Blakes were out of the box comfortable. Light and cushy. These are sandals that I know I will be able to walk many vacation steps in without a problem. The sole isn't the sexiest, but comfort for me is more important. I wear a 9/40, and I thought these were a tiny bit short than other 40s I've worn. Nothing that affects their comfort, so I am keeping them.

That was the problem...not the shoe, but the fit for ME! Because the toe strap is fixed, not adjustable, I cannot wear this shoe....need adjustable toe strap also. However, basically, the strap across the foot was also a bit too long....this shoe is very cute and seemed comfortable if my food--size 4--were bigger or fatter!

So simple, so comfortable, so stylish. I highly recommend these.

Naot makes a nice product. If you like a molded footbed with moderate arch support, then you should like these. Naot is a nice alternative to Berkinstock and Mephisto. Naot has a lighter, softer feeling footbed and is more flexible. It is lighter weight overall and also has a slimmer profile. This is my 2nd pair of this particular style. Comfortable right out of the box and I can wear them all day for 12 hours. I live in Houston, TX so they are perfect for the climate. The top strap is adjustable so I got it to fit perfectly. I am am 70 + and it's hard to find a "perfect" shoe but for me this really ticks all the boxes for comfort and wearability.

I have worn these continually since they arrived. Love the dark red “braided “ print leather - shiny and slightly dressier than plain leather. Super comfortable and supportive, and easy to slide into. I own lots of Naots and these are by far my favorite.

I love Naot shoes. They are comfortable right of the box. I really like this style and the color.

I purchased size 41 which is equivalent to a US size 10. My normal shoe size in US is 9 or 9.5. Because I own other Naots, I know I have to go up from 40 to 41. This brand gives me great arch support & are quality.

Guess Naot is not for my feet, which makes me sad because they are probably very comfortable. They are too narrow even when trying a size up. These are going back.

Love the adjustable strap and thankfully the toe strap is narrow enough to hold my feet! Comfortable and stylish - dressy enough for almost everything. But still - would love a heel strap.

It's exactly what I was looking for - a sandal that's both casual and dressy. It's the slight sheen that makes this sandal dressy. I've always had good luck with Naot sandals. You can't go wrong with this sandal.

They fit perfectly. Generally my feet are narrow, but I am a little wider in the toe bed. These sandals work perfectly for my feet.

These shoes are great! I first bought the Maple and today ordered them in black. These two pair will be my go-to shoes this summer. The top straps fits me almost perfectly - not too tight; not too loose. The other strap is adjustable so I always have a perfect fit. The top strap is a little higher on the toes than other Noat styles which is perfect for me as I let an inflammation spot calm down after wearing less than perfect fitting shoes. Good, solid, supportive sandal that fits well and looks stylish.

I really like this sandal. Comfortable and stylish because of the glossy, woven leather straps. I purchased a pair with black straps in Honolulu then thought to check Zappos for more Naot styles.

Love the adjustability of the Velcro top strap! I have several pairs of the Ashley and love them but the elastic straps can sometimes get snug with swelling during travel. Otherwise the fit is identical to my Ashley’s. I am a size 10 in every other shoe but for this line a 42 is a perfect fit for me.

Several years ago I made my 1st purchase of Naot sandals. They are among the most comfortable sandals I've ever had, and they have outworn cheaper sandals. When the time came to choose a pair of new red sandals, these Naots were among my choices, all cheaper. The comfort of the Naot sandals kept calling to me.. After all, they were my go-to sandal on our Italy tour last year, and we walked most everywhere including up and down those many stairs in Positano. The sandal choice was easy. Great sandals! They fit well and are attractive! I haven't worn them out of the house yet, but I know I will get many compliments on them. Would love to wear them on another tour of Italy!
