Not like the previous version. Very tight and narrow, returned immediately. Wish they didn’t change the style as I’ve purchased this shoe several times.

Love the style of the Wave Inspire shoe, but this shoe is NOT a WIDE shoe. Buyer beware. It's the same width as their standard shoe.

Developed blisters on heal on second long run. However older models had made my feet bleed from plastic rubbing and this has yet to happen

Nice looking sneaker and seemed to have a comfortable cushioning. I usually wear a 8.5 but this was tight and seemed a tiny bit short on me. Had to return them.

These shoes are really amazing to look at. I love the colors and the appearance of excellent support. The problem, for me, is that I apparently have delicate ankles. I walk 3-4 miles every day. The first day that I wore the Wave Inspire, I could feel discomfort in the balls of my feet. I attributed that to the fact that my feet were striking differently with the support of these shoes. However, I had back pain that evening. The next day, I noticed that along with the different foot-strike, my spine was swiveling more than usual. That did explain the back pain. The third day...I got painful blisters just inside the rim of the shoe at the backside of both ankles. I have been wearing Nike Free Run Flyknits for just over 10 years. I think I just need a shoe that has that minimal edge at the top of the shoe. The cushioning at the top of the Wave Inspires created too much friction for my feet. :( Sadly, these attractive kicks will be worn only for trips to the grocery store.

Based on previous reviews, I purchased these shoes in a wide width. They were still too painfully narrow! Had to return them.

This shoe fit nicely with good support until I tried it with my orthotics. The shoe is too shallow to accommodate them. I returned them along with a pair of Salomons which had a similar problem.

I always buy Mizuno size 8 Wave Inspire but first some reason these are not feeling right. The toes feel tight, my feet go numb - so I'll be calling customer service tomorrow.

I was fitted for the Mizunos Wave Inspire 14s at a running store, and loved them so much I bought two pairs. When I saw the 15s released, I immediately bought a pair. Unfortunately, the toe box was so uncomfortable that I inadvertently found myself changing how my foot landed to keep my toes from being too stressed, and I developed shin splints. I'm going to try what another user suggested to widen the toe box. Hopefully I can fall in love with this brand again. Otherwise, my search continues.

Great shoe but the redesign has a much smaller toe box and is not as wide. I was sad to have to return these.

I previously had the Wave Inspire 13. The redesign is much more narrow and has a narrow toe box. The Wide shoe fits just like the regular (no more with). Disappointed in the new design for a shoe really liked.

Great Shoe but already after a week it seems that the gel is leaking and makes a squeaky sound; I hope that mizuno will replace this pair

This shoe is great, but they modified the toe box to the point that it causes really painful pinching above my big toe joint. Also, I saw a few other people have this issue based on the reviews ... don't return the shoes because they are great (after you break them in) but to do that use shoe trees to forcefully make the toe box bigger. I put the shoe trees in them when I wasn't running in them and within a week and a half the problem was completely fixed. The shoes look great after 600 miles even. 2 -star review only to draw attention to the toe box issue. Give the shoes 5 - stars otherwise. Ordering a 2nd pair so I can start stretching out the toe box again.

Disappointed with the small uncomfortable knot/ball in arch support. Enjoyed a pair of Mizunos in the past and was hoping these would work. Wouldn't order Mizunos online again since returns are not free, nor is their rerun system, Shopatron, particularly easy to use when compared with comparable retailers' online systems.

I felt like Cinderella's ugly step sister trying to squeeze my foot into this shoe which turned out to be impossible so I can't comment on the comfort or support. I ordered the size I usually wear in a Brooks shoe and found this Mizuno to run at least a full size smaller. I will order a full size larger and hope for the best.
I'd also recommend:

I've been looking for a black sneaker for months now and finding it challenging. I severely overpronate and have very achy heels and this shoe did nothing for me other than meet the aesthetic criteria. It seemed to lack cushioning, good arch support and for the money, wasn't really worth it. I think sneaker manufacturers have mostly lost their way. Their charging premium prices but not putting much into their products unfortunately. These went back...on with the search.

My first pair of running shoes was the Inspire 14. They were roomier and cushier than the 15 yet still cradled my narrow heel the way that I need. Since I haven't been running long, I first thought that my troubles with the 15 were just the shoe needing to be broken in but I've run in them past the return window and sadly, am experiencing knee pain that I never had with the 14. I'm guessing the company just decided to cut back on materials while raising the price. Less cushion, narrower toe box, shorter laces (which make it impossible to tie them to prevent heel slip). I'm stuck with these but I won't risk another Mizuno purchase again. :(

I've bought this series for years, and these fit insanely small. Called customer service wanting to try a new size - I had to pay for return shipping and customer service isn't even mizuno, so they were awful at helping.
