I've been hunting for some ivory/white ankle boots for a couple of months now, and after staring longingly at these babies for two weeks (full price was a bit too rich for my blood), I snapped them up on a 30% off sale. I took my usual size 9.5, and they start off snug and a bit narrow when you first put them on with a sock, but after a bit of breaking in, no more than a day, they stretch out and feel great. They're a comfortable height and the pointed toe is shaped at the right place to not pinch your toes. As for the cutouts, they're just the thing to make these more warm-weather appropriate, and I find they are just covered up enough by the straps that I don't mind the little peek of color when I wear an ankle sock. If it's a splurge for you, wait until it's on sale and less of a splurge, but trust me, it's worth it for the quality leather and craftsmanship. I'd rather pay $200 for one solid pair that will last a few years instead of two $100 pairs that will break apart after a season.

I took a chance with these boots !!! And boy am I glad I did ! Totally awesome boot ! I am a size 6 and that is what I bought! Perfect! The color is outstanding ! Fry has been around a long time ,I remember my first pair when I was in my 20s now I’m 64 and the comfort it still the same ! Worth every penny !!!
