This shoe was very cute, but it was at least one size too large for my foot. I wear a 6 1/2 and ordered the recommended size of 37. Usually this size works but not this time. I am reordering in the smaller size as I liked it well enough to try again. Thank you, Zappos!

I'm a big fan of this brand. I love the look of these shoes, especially the heel. They are good for wider feet and they are a great height.

Love these shoes! They are adorable and allow for my super wide feet because of the buckles.

Well clearly the one star is because they did not fit. They are otherwise a gorgeous and well made shoe. Dankso is very inconsistent -- sometimes they are perfect for me. In this case, the toe was not remotely wide enough, giving me the dreaded "four toes" effect, and they certainly could not be worn. Sizing up would have resulted in a too large shoe. I wish they would just make wide shoes, because it's potluck and they are one of the few brands of shoe I will even consider.

I was happy with these shoes. I have a messed up foot and the traditional Dansko shoe works well for me.

I own several pairs of Dansko sandals, so I ordered my usual size. However, I should have heeded the reviews and sized down, as they are quite a bit too long for me. They also seem to have a harder insole than other Dansko sandals I own. It's not necessarily uncomfortable when standing, but it would take some getting used to. I will definitely need to return these because of the size issue, but I'm debating whether I should exchange them for the next size down or for a different Dansko style in another color.

Definitely not true to size. I wear a size 8 in Dansko but these were definitely a half to a whole size to big. I kept them and I wear them all the time but I have to buckle them on the tightest hole.

Here is the second pair of Dansko shoes I ever found cute. A woman I worked with had these on and they were darling. I finally got a chance thanks to Zappos to try these. They are super cute, love the material and the shape is great. Supported high arch and front of foot being wide. Alas, here again it really is a shoe fit for a size 9, not an 8.5, esp with a narrow heel and ankle. Much to my sadness, they will go back to find a home where they will fit better.

I have a lot of Danskos — more than 10 pairs. But I’m returning these because they are so uncomfortable. The arch is really, really high, and when combined with a rather high heel, they put virtually all the weight of your body on your arches. If you like a very high arch, you might like them. The camel color was also not great. If they had been comfortable, I would’ve been ok with the color, but it’s a little drab. Not a luxurious or natural-looking camel.
