Was looking for a classic white canvas shoe with a touch of Navy Blue and these were the best looking pair out there. They are strictly for fashion and comfort as there is not much support at all. I like them so far, I wish they had a tad more navy accents but aside from Vans, these are the best old school retro feel shoes out there.

I really love these sneakers. I was looking for a pair of plain white sneakers for the summer and Lord knows I searched and searched and searched. I wanted something that was plain but not 100% white. Just an accent or something to give it a little bit of style. These fit the bill perfectly. They look great! They are also very comfortable especially as compared to similar sneakers like the Converse Chuck Taylor or the Jack Purcell (both of which I've owned). Those sneakers give zero arch support and have no padding whatsoever. The Sperrys have minimal padding but enough to make a significant difference. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do run a half size larger. Typically I am an 11 1/2. I ordered an 11 and they fit perfectly. Thanks to all the reviewers for the head's up. Honestly, I would not change a thing about these sneakers. They look good with shorts, jeans, and khakis. What I envision is that these sneakers will be bought and re-bought over the years. They will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come.

I have been a Jack Purcell wearer for years, but they always pinched my toes. I'm on my feet all day teaching 4th graders, so I need support and comfort.The Sperry Striper II's have a similar look to the Purcells, more support and comfort on the inside, and the don't pinch my toes. I'm very happy I bought them.

Ran exactly 1/2 size large. Very comfortable and they look great. I ordered white and grey. Kept the white, but however much I wanted to love the grey, it has a slight greenish tint to them that I didn't like. Returned those.

Initially ordered 10 (my size) but footbed felt short, half size bigger was perfect. Shoes are very comfortable with just enough cushion and much better arch support that Converse

I usually wear size 10 to 10.5 and these in 10 fit perfect. These look great and are pretty comfortable.

These shoes fit great, but the padding has no arch support. Overall, the color is great and they are comfortable. Love the grip on the soles.

True to my dress size shoe (8 1/2). I do wear a (9 1/2) with running shoes like Asics. Comfortable with moderate arch support. Looks great for a canvas white Boat shoe look which is what I wanted..
