They are MUCH higher than other over knee boots i have tried. These are THIGH highs. For reference I am 5'4" about 119 lbs. I have ridiculously scrawny calves and these looked stupid on me. They wouldn't stay up and the calf part just bunched and sticks out on me. They would probably work for someone else- the style is cute and seems like it would be comfortable. See pic for comparison to a target pair- target is on my right, these are on my left.

Good value for the price! I liked the look and fit but ended up returning because I felt the rise was too high (it went to the top of my thigh and I was looking for something more right above the knee). Great look for dresses, probably not as much for jeans.
