First, I have narrow feet, A width, and a high arch. I checked out sandals in a variety of stores and couldn't find a good fit with high arch support. I decided I would search Zappos and test a variety of sandals. I started with Ecco sandal, low to minimal arch support. My feet ached and I returned sandal. I tried Vionic Leo sandal which has a great arch support. Unfortunately, the shoe has a light gray color along with dark brown straps which doesn’t look good. The sole also is nonabsorbent so my feet felt damp after wearing for a short time. Since my feet are narrow, I needed to adjust the straps tighter, but the Velcro placement doesn’t allow for tighter adjustment that I needed. I returned this sandal. Finally, I tried the Teva Langdon sandal. Great looks, absorbent sole, and better arch support than most, although slightly less than the Vionic. I kept this shoe and it’s very comfortable.

The adjustable straps have only limited amounts of velcro on them so that there is very little adjustment available for a slimmer than "medium" width. This is partly because the ankle strap is high on the ankle, where it is slimmest. Since there is no other width available, this is a curious limitation. My husband has a narrow foot and slender ankle, but the now-obsolete (?) Vionic sandal similar to this one that I bought him some years ago had a much more accommodating adjustment. We have returned this sandal in favor of the Teva Langdon sandal.

Why can't women buy a real shoe as the guys do? I wear a size 7W and I need arch support and I run an acre garden. I step into my shoes in the morning and wear them for my chores and throw on a skirt and go to church in them. I don't want flimsy shoes. I want a guy's shoes.

Between my wife and I, we have multiple pairs of Vionics. We love them. However, I have to agree with some of the other reviewers. There is not enough velcro on the strap that goes over the foot near the ankle. Barely enough to fasten it. A few steps and the velcro let go. Either I have really skinny feet or its a bit of a design flaw. Otherwise, with the few steps I took in them, the fit seemed to be similar to other Vionics. But, I will have to try a different brand for this style sport sandal.

I'll almost echo the review just before mine, regarding the straps. They are too long with not enough velcro. Thus the ends of the straps stick out much farther than I would like and they look a little odd. Other than this issue with the straps, I can say that these sandals are just as comfortable as the ones that these are replacing. They provide firm support for my flat feet.

Liked the shoe. It was just too large. Can't really evaluate it until I get a pair that fits properly.
