This boot fits true to size. This boot looks better than the images although after a few miles the Sierra dust makes everything look the same. This boot is surprisingly light. It has incredible cushioning from mid sole to heel. It took a few hikes to break this boot in - this was related to fit around my ankle. Good boot so far - have yet to use this during summer months...

These boots are extremely nice and comfortable. They feel like trail running shoes with the aggressive grip. I have always worn Vasque and was a little hesitant switching brands but so far so good.

Great lightweight hiking boot and/or casual boot. Width and sizing appropriate for a normal Size 10-Medium. Quality materials and construction, typical of Asolo boots. Highly recommended.

First impression is, boots seem to be great light weight hikers. Perfect for day hikes and possibly short backpacks with light loads. I’ve yet to hit the trail though so I won’t be commenting on durability or technical details. For now I’ll just comment on fit and features. I ordered size 10 and they seem roomy—RUN SLIGHTLY LARGE, which is perfect for a hiking boot allowing room for thicker socks and a bit of room in toe box. Fits snuggly at heel and fit is good. Laces are easy to adjust for perfect fit. No slipping or sliding. Good grippy soles. Although fit is a bit roomy they do run just a tad narrow. Actually, the first pair I received caused some rubbing to my right foot (by little toe) so I returned. Glad I opted for an exchange instead of return as the replacement pair I received are perfect, causing absolutely no rubbing and are super comfy right out of the box. No need to break boots in as these are not heavy leather and the Vibram sole is flexible. Overall seem to have good ankle support and plenty of room in toe box so toes won’t get jammed on downhill treks. I’ve searched high and low for a boot that fits and I can wear on day hikes since my Scarpa backpacking boots are way too heavy and overkill for gentle trails. These fit the bill perfectly. First time Asolo wearer but I think I’m sold. Love these already.

A light, good-looking sturdy boot with great traction. Fit perfect out of the box. First time Asolo owner. I walk an average of 50 miles a week and so far, so good!

I purchased these a size bigger than ones I already have because I will be doing long distance hiking in them this winter. With thick socks they work well. Obviously I like the boots because I have the same ones, just a size smaller for shorter hikes and casual wear.

EVERYTHING IS GOOD

A good light hiking shoe that I use on 10-16 mile hikes. You will feel rocks under your feet but sacrifice lighter weight over a more sturdy shoe. They seem to be on a par with a Keen of similar shoe. I will use them over winter in AZ, so time will tell how they hold up.

I have a narrow foot, so this boot is a bit wide and I have to really synch up the laces. Great tread and light.

Not much cushioning to speak of. Not comfortable enough to buy.

I have an older pair of Asolos that I love. But this pair was clearly too big for me, and I have worn a 10.5 for my entire adult life. I wore them once for a hike and got blisters due to them being too large. I returned them for a pair of Keen's and they fit great.
