I have bunions and arthritis in my feet and ankles from years of dancing, and these shoes give me wonderful support, stability and comfort! I love to hike with my dog, and I am able to go the distance with her in these shoes. They are also the shoes of choice, recommended by a close relative who is a foot and ankle surgeon.

I love Hoka. I had tendonitis really bad and the shoe was one of the shoes recommended by my podiatrist. I love , love , love them. Even though I am not a runner, I exercise by walking and doing exercise tapes. This is my second pair of Hoka. Highly recommend them.

I am using these shoes for work ,at the Hospital. I can definitely see the difference. They are so comfortable. I have wide feet and the wide feet sizing are just perfect for me. I have been telling all my coworkers about these shoes.

Really enjoyed these shoes. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get due to the hazardous air quality caused from all the fires.

I had problems in both knees from many years of running in the military. It got to the point where I would have to wear braces to help with the pain. My son told me about the amazing Hokas that he just bought. He had knee pain as well. I thought I'd give them a try, to date, I have put 15 pain free miles on them. Not sure I will ever run in anything else.

I run several miles a day, but I have started having pain in my left knee. I bought these shoes specifically to give me support and cushioning. They are even more comfortable than I hoped they would be. I would recommend these to anyone in need of a supportive shoe.

I run ~12 miles per week baseline and typically train for half marathons in the fall and spring (when that was a thing...). I've run in the Brooks Ravenna for about 6 years and I love that shoe, but I've been having increasing issues with shin splints and wanted to try something different. After a lot of research, I decided on the Gaviota. So far, I would consider it to, at a minimum, match my satisfaction with the Ravenna, which for me is a huge win. The jury is still out on how it's impacting my shins but I haven't noticed a lot of pain and I've been running in the Gaviota for about a month now. More generally, the shoe is very comfortable and cushioned while not feeling bulky. I have noticed I prefer it when doing cross training (fitness DVDs) - my feet feel more stable. Overall, at this point, I would absolutely recommend the Gaviota. I'm not sure yet what my next running shoe will be.

Daily walks. I love the support they give my ankles, I just wish they had more padding on the soles. Do y'all have any shoes that help with the pronation and also provide maximum cushioning in the soles? I've used your shoes for several years now. Love them.

The technical term for my condition is posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. The stability of the Gaviota design is beyond measure. I am a busy surgeon and this is why I can stand for hours in the OR. I now keep three pairs of these shoes handy. I must never be without them

I wear them for work. On my feet all day in a medical office. This is my third pair. Love the shoe. Best shoe I have found for my flat feet and pronating ankles.

I've struggled with foot pain due to several surgeries from Hallux Rigidus. I wanted an everyday shoe that provided comfort and stability while Alleviating the pain by limiting the pressure on my big toe joint. The rocker bottoms help position the top of my foot in a way that I do not feel that pressure. While wearing them I do not limp nearly as much as I do barefoot.

I love the look and feel of the shoes. This particular style is very supportive for my flat feet and high impact movements during exercise. Although, I would highly suggest the brand use another carrier instead of UPS. On the east coast in the DC Metro region, they're famous for delaying and losing packages. Just a tip.
