I used this bagg for a day at the Minnesota State Fair, and it was perfect! Not only did it hold everything I had with me, but it also gave me peace of mind while I walked around the fairgrounds and exhibits, and attended a grandstand concert that evening. Since then, I have been strongly recommending it for anyone going to big events and attractions like fairs, the major amusement parks, and music festivals.

My husband and I like to do a lot of sightseeing and light hiking when we travel and I have been looking for a convertible bag/backpack for awhile that would be suitable for both daytime and nighttime activities. This bag somehow manages to be light but rugged. It was the perfect size for a carry on holding some essentials, my wallet, and a book.

I had to return mine. It showed up with a defective zipper. Otherwise I probably would have loved it.

I really like this bag! Problem is it is very small for a back pack! While I don't want a huge one, medium size would be great!

It’s a cute bag and has good pockets. I do wish the central area was a bit larger or better designed.

I really want to love this bag, and as a backpack, I do. However, I REALLY wanted it as a crossbody/sling as well. I have an older model Baggalini crossbody/sling that fits me perfectly. they don't make it anymore and haven't for years. I'm on the tall side and have a large chest and am a bigger person, and the backpack fits perfectly, but it doesn't work at all as a sling/crossbody, so I am disappointed. I wish the company would make longer straps for bigger people. I would solely shop with them. Their products are so well made.

I bought this for a 12 day multi-country trip. I had never used a backpack before. I love that this bag converts from a backpack to a sling with just a zip! It is well made (as all Baggalini products I've purchased). The hidden zipper pocket (at your back when worn as backpack) held my passport and room key; the other exterior pocket held a phone charger and cord, travel packs of wipes and tissues and lip balm. The interior zip pocket I didn't use, but any extra storage area is nice to have. The main compartment held my reusable shopping bag, RFID wristlet with credit cards & cash, and had room to spare! The only issue I had was on the first day out I had NOT locked the main compartment zippers-they slid open and thankfully my travel companion was there to zip and lock them, so nothing lost!. Remember to lock the main compartment zipper before going out and you're set. That is the only reason the review has 4 stars.

The bag appears to be very durable. This bag has different compartments that most Baggallinis have which I really like. Unfortunately the straps were too long for me. I was unable to adjust them so that the bag rested on my back. It hit my lower back which was not comfortable for me. I returned the bag. Wish it had worked.

I bought this to travel in Paris (lots of trips on the Metro) so security was important for me. I was pleased with the different zipper compartment options but find it hard to access the zipper compartment on the back when I wear it as a cross-body purse (instead of backpack style), even with the straps fully extended. It met my needs as I was able to store a small water bottle, lightweight down jacket and compact folding umbrella in the purse along with my passport wallet and cell phone for any trip for the day and it felt securely stored. My one issue is with the straps - they are a little too long for wearing backpack style on my 5'3" frame (and I had shortened them as much as I could) and not quite long enough to wear cross-body style (even extended all the way). It would be great if Baggallini could come up with a way to address this.

Love the durability if the Zippers and fabric. RFID cut proofness are bonuses. Am able to carry it backpack style carrying a camera with a big lens while site-seeing or riding a bike. With dedicated places for everyday items like wallet, toothbrush, phone, the next day I carry it, says camera, as a purse due to its' slim design. While it does NOT fit everything (it's too small for journal + water bottle+(exterior mesh would be perfect for H2O) + camera ), this bag DOES look and FEEL good to carry; it's not too bulky. I like the backpack fit even though I'm only 5'1". The converable strap is great. Took one star off for no exterior H20.

It's an attractive and well made bag, but ended up being a little too small for my needs so I returned it.

I love this bag! But... It needs inside 1/2 pockets so everything isn't on the bottom of the bag. The pockets it does have goes all the way to the bottom, so no help there. This is still a smart looking very functional bag.

This bag is lovely. Strong, sits close to my back which I really like. There is no sagging down and leaving a gap between my back and the bag. The opening is nice and wide. I wish the bag were just a touch more spacious, just an inch wider at the bottom would do. Other than that, the only thing it's missing is a key fob!

Very pretty, very comfortable, very practical. One suggestion...inside pockets for glasses.

This bag's retro, bowling bag shape is what first caught my interest. It actually holds quite a few bits and bobs! The fabric's nice, and the simplistic zipper locks would probably deter a casual, opportunistic pickpocket. The bag's bottom portion rests on the lower back and the bag hangs away from the body, which allows airflow on the wearer's back. That's a plus for warmer weather. Unfortunately, the unpadded straps weren't comfortable for me, so my hunt for the perfect anti-theft backpack continues.

While I love the backpack, it's anti- theft features are great! I still wish it were a bit larger in the depth of the bag. And I wish there were a place on the outside of the bag for a bottle of water. But still a great bag!

This is a great backpack - lightweight and not at all bulky. However, that is achieved by reducing the space in the bag. I have a hard time fitting everything in and I still have not figured out a convenient place for my keys. The inside pocket seems to be the most accessible. So, a great bag if you don't have too much stuff!

Love the bag! Wish it were a little bigger to hold a few more items while travelling i.e. water bottle and rain jacket . The bigger backpacks are not made from the same material and do not have safety tabs on the zippers

I have been using this bag for about 1 week and the top zipper keeps getting stuck. Not just on top, but also on the sides. I am really disappointed.

Have had the bag for a week. I want to like this bag. It is the correct size for me and I like the look. The wallet was a little less than was expected. The hook to tether it inside is at the bottom of the bag. Also the zippers on the largest compartment constantly become stuck on the fabric making the bag difficult to zip and unzip.

This is a great product except for one thing: The zippers that go from the top and down the sides, on both sides, only go half way down before catching on the fabric lining, at which point they stop unless I reach inside and try to get the fabric out of the way--just poor construction.

I just bought this for travel. I wanted a small enough purse to fit inside my backpack, but also roomy enough to hold my travel camera when used alone. I love everything about it and it is just as advertised...EXCEPT... the zippers both catche on BOTH sides of the purse when opening and closing. About 3 inches from the closing point. Since it is a nylon zipper which sometimes split I am nervous about applying too much pressure. It requires too much pressure to close and feels as if the interior fabric is catching in the zipper. BOTH zippers and BOTH sides. I will try soap or WD40 to lubricate the zipper, however, IMO is should just work!
I did not receive an incentive for this review, in which 'No' is not a choice.

This backpack is built for a large frame. I am 5 ft and 5 1/2 inches tall but not a large frame. The backpack sags way down my back. This makes it uncomfortable. The straps have limited adjust-ability.

I bought this bag hoping to replace my diaper bag as my son is out of diapers but still needs things with us (he’s a toddler.) Unfortunately this isn’t the bag for that. It isn’t very big, the size of an small/medium purse. I’m sure it would be a great purse replacement if you’re only needing it as a purse but if you’re looking for more this is not it. I did really like the style and features though.
