This does not fit like a 1080v8 at all. I didn't expect it to be exactly like the 1080v8, but I do find the product information to be somewhat confusing/misleading. Comparing it to my two other favorite running shoes (the 1080v8 and the Brooks Ghost), this shoe is much more sleek, form fitting, and narrow. I have size 10 2E shoes in all the above mentioned. The 1080v8 is much wider and has a much more stable/large base to it. The 1400v6 does fit my foot, but it's not the same luxurious and super stable yet cushioned feel that I've grown used to. It feels like a stripped-down shoe, if that makes any sense. Also, the little metal aglets on the end of the laces take some getting used to and are kind of annoying to feel bobbing around while I'm running, if I'm honest. It's a nice enough shoe. I will keep it and probably just use it for shorter runs. I hope this helps anyone else that is wondering about fit, cushion, comparison, stability, width, etc.

Great response from the foam, good tread wear and pretty light for a size 13 shoe. These are replacing my NB Hanzos that seem to lose their traction inserts after a month worth of road runs.
