This is a beautiful bag. I got it in ruby. The problem is the hideous chemical smell which is usually formaldehyde, a known carcinogen. I even left it in the garage for two days because I liked it, but then realized it was ridiculous to keep something that was so toxic. I shop in China when I travel for work, and it has been many years since this chemical smell would have been acceptable to local shoppers as everyone now knows it is toxic. I hope the manufacturers can fix the problem because the design is great, especially for the price. Sigh.

I recently spent a month in Boston, and needed a backpack that was the perfect size, weight, looked elegant, and was comfortable. I looked at over a hundred backpacks months before my trip, and found this one. I received lots of compliments from passers-by in Boston, and now that I am home, I am still receiving compliments. Someone asked me where I bought my bag, because they are leaving on a trip soon.

This is a beautiful backpack but I was really disappointed when I received it. It says it's 14" and I bought it for my 13" laptop. When I opened the box I could immediately tell it wouldn't be big enough. When I put a ruler against it, it's more like 12" instead of 14". You really need to check your dimensions on this item because my 13" laptop wouldn't fit at all. Needless to say, I'll be returning it.

This is a great backpack for its size. It’s probably better for those who need to pack for a day in the city than travelling - just depends on your needs. I want one a little bigger that has a sleeve to slide over suitcase handles. Again depends on how much you want to shove in an overhead bin on a cramped plane.

I bought this for my "personal item" while traveling. It holds my kindle, iPad and phone, as well as my wallet, keys, etc. The outside pocket is handy for boarding pass and other items needed quickly. I've now started using it everyday, as I like having both hands available. I am now thinking of getting another one in a different color!

Cute backpack! Very stylish and functional.

I was looking for a backpack to use as a purse and this was larger than I needed, but with two kids, the extra space is welcome for anything extra. The bag was well made and designed, however, the leather and the overall feel of the bag too stiff. I felt like I was wearing a jet pack. There was no give in the material at all. I returned the bag.

I ordered this as a gift based on a Zappos YouTube video. I wasn’t sure how large it needed to be and Zappos didn’t have the larger specifically made for the laptop, so I ordered the larger from the company Lipault directly. They both came the same day and needless to say, after comparing the two side by side, she chose the larger. I think the smaller suited her needs, but the color, which was supposed to be a caramel, was a muddy brown and it was not pebbled leather, but vinyl. It didn’t feel or smell like leather. The larger from Lipault, was the correct color, with a nice weighty, pebbled leather that smelled and felt correct. In all honesty, I think the one we sent back was a knock off.
