The problem with the tightness of this shoe is caused by the tongue being attached on the sides to the inside bottom of the shoe. So if you have high arches or wide feet (I have both), there’s limited give as it’s stretched to the max. I’ve been wearing Vans for decades and have never had a problem with tightness that couldn’t be solved by just loosening the laces, but even no laces doesn’t fix the issue on this shoe. They are cute enough I’m gonna keep them and hope the weird tongue attachment stretches out or maybe just cut it to allow more arch space.

I love these shoes! They are a little tight over the top of the foot though. My feet go numb if I’m wearing them while say, laying around on the couch. Doesn’t happen if I’m out walking in them.

These are adorable, super comfortable ( put them on and felt like I was floating), and I love them. I want every color they have except the "metal" ones I ordered. They're not gray, but kinda pale greenish. I'm going to try the white.

These are very cute sneakers -- I bought the lilac(ish) color, and it's very pretty. I'm a size 6 in just about everything, and these fit me perfectly. My feet are very slightly wide, although not enough to require wide sizes, some styles can be a little snug. Not these, though, there is plenty of room. Our New England spring is still a few weeks away, however, so I haven't worn these for any length of time, but have been wearing them around the house to get them somewhat broken in, and they are quite comfy. I have a couple of pairs of Van's slip ons and love them - very comfortable, well made and fun colors and prints, I love the brand.

These shoes are so cute, but just too narrow in the toe area for me. It was like a ridge of pressure on top my foot. Wish they worked for me!

This is the second pair of these shoes I have purchased for my daughter. She LOVES them! Lightweight, stylish, and provide stability. Will be purchasing another pair when she outgrows them.

Most comfortable shoe! I own the turquoise & white color and am going to buy the strawberry color because these shoes are everything. I love them with dresses, shorts, jeans and even for work. They’re very comfortable and I can walk forever in them. I am usually a size 8.5 or 9 in shoes and I have never had vans before so I tried those sizes but a 9.5 fit me perfectly. I can wear them with or without socks.

Awesome looking ~ all-in-all a really sweet shoe by Vans. Been wearing Vans for decades - even though they take a while to break in, they last a long time (proportional, I guess?). These are much better for comfort than their classic skate (deck) sneaks, so really stoked abt that. They break in almost immediately. I got abt 1yr of HARD wear outta a pair of these purchased abt same time last year, so I am pleased. Oh and great colors make my new summer kicks more fun!

I love these shoes. My boyfriend (and ex) both have these. They are regular converse and vans wearers.. and I think its a good option to get a more athletic feel before getting nikes! I was so happy when I saw they made pink so I got them right away for myself!

I’ve read other reviews on other sites that recommended going up at least half a size. I’m so happy that I did!!! They shoes fit perfectly thanks to the size adjustment. I would almost recommend going up an entire size. They are cute and stylish. They may need a little breaking into. I have a narrow slim foot and it felt a little cramped. But comfortable by the end of the first day of wear.

I saw these shows on the feet of another woman in a doctor's office waiting room and just had to have them. I love the style, print and fit.

I listened to reviews and ordered my true size of 8. BUT as with my slip on Vans, they always run big on me and so did these. 5 Stars because I loved them, look great on, but they were too big. Will be returning.

These are awesome! I think they sent me a returned pair because the vans sticker was gone and my teenage daughter was angry because she really wanted it. I might buy in another color because they’re so cute and comfy.

I'm normally a women's 8.5 and returned for an 8. The 8.5 felt a bit big even with socks, but would probably have been okay. The 8 was perfect without socks.

Super light and comfortable shoe that also is super cute. Definitely order half a size up. I ordered my normal size and the top by the laces was too snug but luckily Zappos has awesome customer service and exchanged them for me

I normally wear a size 8 shoe or boot but I like my athletic shoes to have more toe room. I ordered a 1/2 size up and they were perfect! Also, I like a wider front that does squish or touch my toes and these met that requirement. I got the checkerboard ones and have already received many compliments.

I purchased these in lavender and it is a lovely color. The shoe is surprisingly light and very comfortable right out of the box.

I'm very pleased with the shoes, they are extremely complex and has a pretty style. More of a style shoes than workout shoes.

Very cute and different...a little spunk for the range shoe line. Originally bought an 8 as a birthday gift for my daughter who is always a womens 8 in Van's. The exchange process was super easy and she had the 8.5 in about 2 days. I'm thinking the style difference of the shoe made her need an 8.5 for comfortable width. Overall she love the shoes vans are always quality footwear and Zappos is awesome retailer.
