Awesome shoes! Great for both work and casual wear. SO comfortable. I wear a 9M and ordered a 9M even though other reviewers thought they ran somewhat bigger. They are perfect right out of the box. They don't even feel like they need to be "broken in" at all. Not stiff, not too much arch - just enough, and perfect in width and length. Will be purchasing in another color.

I REALLY wanted to love these shoes. They are super cute and the leather is as smooth as butter. However, they felt to be about a 1/2 size too large. Since I'm already a size 6, I cannot order them a 1/2 size small in this brand. The shoes are cute, but you may want to size down. For reference I am typically between a 6 and 6 1/2 in M width.

The shoes are quite cute, very good quality. I should have paid attention to the reviews, because they are indeed a little big, a half size. However, Zappos excellent customer service allows me to exchange them without issue.

I usually wear a 10.5 but have to order an 11 since a lot of brands don’t have 10.5’s. The 11’s were to big for me in these. I will say they are really nice quality. Maybe a little stiff. I have arthritis in the joint of my big toe and these did irritate my arthritis. I got the hazelnut which is a beautiful color. The shoe does have some arch support which would have been nice for me had they fit. The footbed lining is really soft.

Nice, comfortable basic flat. I normally wear a 6.5, ordered a 6.5 and they fit and were comfortable right out of the box. My feet measure out at 6.5 on Brannock device, are low-volume with high arches, narrow heels and broad-ish toes (can we say duck feet?). These fit well in the heel, don't squeeze my toes, don't show toe cleavage (I do have short toes!), and are more padded with a higher arch than most flats. If I was to have a complaint, it is that the shoes gap laterally when walking - but this was not a deal-breaker for me. Make sure that you look at the side of your foot when you try these on - they're much more attractive from that angle than they are looking straight down. These will do nicely for work, for choir, and for anywhere else where I need a semi-dressy-but-casual black flat.

These shoes were SUPER nice. The leather felt AMAZING and soft. However, they were a hair too big and wide. I tried a leather insole from Dr. Scholls, but it didn't help and it made me have toe cleavage. As always Zappos has great customer service, and I returned them and still searching for the perfect flats.

These shoes are exactly what I've been looking for. I have been wearing my Taos sandals since the minute the weather turned warm and knew I had to have that same I-can-walk-and-stand-in-these-all-day feeling in office-appropriate shoes also.

I love these for my problem feet. I have short toes, bunions with halix ridgedis. Most all flats are too long for me which results in the shoe bending at the wrong spot and causes pain. This shoe is perfect for my short toes because the toe box is shorter. The leather is soft and supple which forms to the shape of your foot, and there is some arch support. The seam on top did not bother my bunions after I walked around the house a bit for the leather gives. Very comfortable. Since I can only wear flats, it is hard to find a supportive shoe that is not so orthotic and thick sole looking. These are feminine and go with anything. I am ordering more in different colors. The only other shoe I wear is the Wolky Gila which has a bit shorter toe box.

I was very happy to find a minimal ballet flat that has good arch support. It's a great looking shoe. Unfortunately my heel is narrow and slips in any shoe that's low cut. I reluctantly had to return it.

I was hoping for these shoes would fill the bill for a sweet ballerina flat. . The leather was lovely but unfortunately the cut of the top sat right on my big toe joint.

These stylish flats are just the right ones! I was looking for a flat that has a well-built lining and insole and just a smidge more sole than flats that make you feel as though you have nothing between you and the sidewalk! The Taos Rascal absolutely fulfills my expectations. Fit and sizing are perfect for my 7-l/2M size. They were comfortable from the moment I tried them on and walked around--no rubbing, no slipping, etc. The leather is smooth and the "foot look" is "stylish, goes with anything, etc. Just a great flat! I wore them shopping the first day I received them, and was in total comfort. My kind of shoe!

These are cute flats that are super comfy! Unfortunately, I had to return them due to it slipping too much on my heel. I have super narrow heels and it's hard to get shoes to fit.

Taos knows how to make very comfortable shoes. I’m not sure how they always get it right, but these shoes feel like walking on air. Cute enough to be worn at work or casually with jeans. You won’t be sorry!

I had to size down for this shoe after ordering my regular size. No problem with Zappo's excellent customer service and the replacement pair fit perfectly! I love the color - it is really unique in person. I'm about to have hip replacement surgery and these slip ons will be easy to put on and take off while still offering good arch support.

My bony feet measure on a Brannock device at 6.5. I ordered a pair in 6.5, and they fit with no issues. They are comfortable, unobtrusive flats that don’t quite look like gramma shoes. I use them for work and for choir at church where I need to be standing quite a bit. Please, Taos, keep making this style in various colors.

The first time I wore these was when I was at a work event and had to be on my feet standing for about 8 hours, and they worked out great. Very comfortable! I purchased these in my normal size for flats, and that was perfect.

I ordered my normal size and the fit is perfect! I love this shoe, so much so I ordered multiple pairs in different colors. They are very comfortable and look great with work slacks or jeans. I’m a teacher so I’m on my feet all day. Love this shoe!!!!!

Love these flats. I am a wedding photographer and these are great for being on my feet for 8 plus hours. 5 stars! I do think they run slightly large. I have a narrow foot and they fit me perfectly with no slipping.

These are incredibly comfortable. Definitely destined to be a go to everyday flat. The first pair I received was a half size too big, but in another color the smaller size was a bit too small. I’m guessing the leather stretches so I’d recommend ordering a couple to make sure you get the perfect fit.

I normally wear a size 8 in Taos brand shoes, but had to go down to a size 7 for this shoe to fit. Other than that, it's a really cute shoe that is made well. It's perfect for work or for casual wear.

Beautiful shoe and it works for my wide foot. I love the deep red color but got caught in the rain and water soaks in and creates water spots on the leather. The color smeared some when wiped off so I was not happy about this. I let them dry and the spots do go away but I will be sure and not wear again when the weather is wet.

I really liked the shoe, except for the length. I can wear either size 8 or size 8.5. The 8 was too small, and the size 8.5 was out of stock. So, I had to look for a different shoe. It’s too bad, because I like the mottled look. It was different, and probably not for everyone.

I have a lot of foot issues and only wear flats. I was so happy to find one that is comfortable without a Mary Jane strap. These shoes run large. I needed a full size smaller than my usual size. They look good with pants or dresses. I bought them in three colors.

Very comfortable flat. More serviceable than fashionable but the color is very neutral and goes with everything.

I wear a 9.5-10 and will be keeping the 9.5. They were comfortable and didn’t have to be broken in. Cute black flats.
