I've had these boots since September 2023 the break in was easy and the boots are pretty comfortable. I'm in them at least 10 hours a day in all weather conditions. My only complaints are water can get in around the seam on the left boot. I have to constantly treat and rewater proof it to keep the water out. I have also noticed the soles on the right boot seem to be flaking off. I had a 1 inch 1 inch section completely come off. Other sections are quickly flaking off. The soles themselves seem to wear out super fast. I loves these boots but gor the price I'd expect better quality.

Comfortable and durable, good slip resistance my only gripe is the inside along the ankle, I have to hold the material in place to get my foot out rather then just slipping my feet out like my other boots, they weren't always like that but a month into wearing them my left started doing it then the right started, I'll continue to wear them as they aren't cheap bit my next pair will be in question

They are an identical version of my red and blue threaded pair. Except for the fit. These seem to be a tad loose on the heels. I hope it's not the color that made a difference. My first pair is well over a year old and still fit great. I'm bummed about my new pair. Especially for the price.

I bought these boots yesterday and my only complaint is that the left boot keeps popping. It feels like the sole is not completely together at all, trying to finish my day out and hopefully see what can do to help it.

The way the shape of the heel is on the boots it starts to rub against the hill and makes it uncomfortable after a while.

Left boot is significantly tighter in the toe and hurts after about an hour. Very inconsistent from left to right. I tried an 11 instead of 10.5 and it felt like a 11.5 and was way too loose. Not sure if there was a bad run of them or something but this seems to be a common quality issue.

I bought these boots and had the same issue twice, the liner at the heel came out. I was able to exchange them the first time but was a couple days over the year mark for the second pair. So disappointed, the boots were super comfortable and otherwise durable. The boot barn i purchased them from said it wasn't considered a manufacturer defect because i was over the one year mark. After reading the reviews here i see its is a common issue with these particular boots. I ended up purchasing another pair of boots from a different manufacturer. Hope they last and are as comfortable as the ariots were. Im posting this review in hopes that ariat might do something about this issue. It seems the retailer is unwilling to stand by the product they sell. This will probably be the last time I purchase from them. Thanks.

I bought these boots two maybe three months ago and wear them 10 hours a day working on Heavy Equipment in a shop. The liner on both of these boots have already torn making it very difficult to remove the boot. The steal toe digs into my toes when I walk and cause my toes a lot of grief. I've had two other pairs of Ariat work hogs and loved them always preaching about them at work. But these are hands down a bad buy.

Bought back in August, most of my job is at a desk, but require to have comp toe. Right boot heel has a bulge of material between the layers hat has gave away, making it very difficult to remove the boot. I own several pairs of Ariat boots, one pair as long as 9 years with no issues. A little disappointed in this pair, trying to return or replace.

I bought these boots in April. Went through a couple of pairs trying to find the right size. 11EE was too big 10.5EE was too small. Went with the 10.5 EE. Had neck surgery in May was out of work till Aug. Now the inside liner is coming out of the left boot and there is a clicking noise from under the heel. Disappointing, since I have been a loyal customer for a long time with many pairs of boots purchased. I know that it's not personal but something has changed.

I bought a pair of these boots a few weeks ago and they've been absolutely wonderful, until today when my left boot heel inside separated and is moving around every time I walk. I have contacted customer service to see about warranty work, so we will see how they handle this. Before this happened they are absolutely great boots but now I am very disappointed.

I bought 3 different sizes (9.5D,10.D, 10.5D) to try on and found the same problem with each...The top of my big toe on both feet hit/rubbed on the carbon part of the boot almost like they made the carbon toe portion too short in height. I thought maybe it was just my feet but every other model in the WorkHog line of boots i have not experienced this issue with. I ended up returning this style and purchased a pair of the WorkHog Wellingtons in the Composite Toe Waterproof and I am much happier.

The heal on the left boot is pulling up/out. Can't slip on and off without really working foot in. These are newer boots. I've had this happen on another pair but that was after lots of use.

Less than a year out from owning these boots. My feet are aching and there's a large hole in the toe of the boot. If I step in a puddle my foot is soaked. The brand seems great but if you're a heavy equipment field mechanic, DO NOT spend your money on Ariat. Buy Brunt for half the price.

Been wearing ariats for ten plus years. These are very uncomfortable, and can't last a full ten hours in these. Pushes against my left Achilles and now I got tendinitis there. Wouldn't recommend!

I love ariat products. I wear them daily for work. I'm disappointed in the quality of the product due to the interior fabric of the boot being loose, right where my toes are.. it's annoying and uncomfortable when I wear them.. and worst part is that this is my second pair I got, as replacements for my first pair because they had the same problem. It's just not the quality I expect form ariat. I'm very disappointed

I've had 5 pairs of work hogs over the last 5 years. The last pair I got were the new work hog xt carbon toe. First 4 months they were good but now the inner liner of the heal is loose and you can't get you're foot out without jamming you're hand inside the boot by you're heal and holding the liner, no more just kick off the boots like the last 4 pair. Been dealing with this for 2 months now, going to have to get new boots and probably going to switch brands because I don't want to deal with this again. The old ones were a lot better should have kept one of my old pair of I knew this was going to happen.

Good right boot. Bad left boot. Seriously. Right boot is great, broke in perfect just like my last 3 pair of araits. Problem is - the left boot. Its like its a entirely different boot. Hasn't broke in (yes I use mink oil). Its been 4 weeks, 10 hours a day and still horrible. I had the same problem as a lot of the others with the carbon toe being different size and rubbing - that went away on the right boot of course... Would I buy them again?.... NO. Had a similar problem with the work hogs being different materials. Quality control is a problem. Will I ever buy ariats again? NO.

I always wear ariat boots so i decided to get a pair of workhog xt with a carbon toe.. i noticed the left boot carbon toe was off it will scrach the top of my foot . And also i was wearing my boots in a rainy day and i stepped in a small pothole and as i was walking i noticed my feet were wet. The comfort of the boots only last for like 2 months then you have to keep buying insoles.

Like one of the other reviewers, I'm having the same issue with my toe rubbing. Never had this problem before with any of my safety toe boots. For some reason, the right boot drastically stretched out more than the left. Lastly, something about this boot is causing severe discomfort under the balls of my feet.
