I never write shoe reviews (which I should because I'm picky and rely heavily on other people's reviews). Sizing first: I'm a 38/7.5/sometimes 8. Me: I don't have narrow feet or wide feet, don't have high arches and I'm in my late 20s. These shoes slipped on like a dream. They feel great when walking around and have a nice height. I care almost as much about style as I do comfort and let me tell you, these are a bad a** babe's kind of ankle boot. They have a slight southern look to them but when I wear them sans southern style in my outfits, they look more 'power woman.' Would I want to take these as my one pair of shoes to Europe? No. I don't believe most shoes that have a low cut like these would be best for a trek across Paris. But the style is worth it to me. I walk 1/2 a mile to work in them and I'm fine (not great but fine). These shoes can easily be work with skirts, jeans, slacks or even business casual with a blazer. I got the brown pair because I want to be able to wear them with a few navy skirts I have, but I seriously thought about getting the black pair. I feel that a lot of black shoes look like you had to buy them to work at a restaurant, but not these! Try em out and if you don't like them, no worries, it's ZAPPOS!

I am consistently a size 9.5 in Born, and the 9.5 was a little on the snug side, but size 10 slipped off my heels. That said, I have wide feet. My guess would be these are true to size if you have normal width feet. They lack in support compared to other Born shoes, and like another reviewer mentioned I am ready to take them off at the end of the day. In hindsight, I should have returned them and ordered another style.

Just barely comfortable enough. I wear these regularly to work. By the end of the day I'm happy to take them off but they are comfortable enough to get through the day. Clean up/polish up nicely with a silicone sponge wipe. Not exactly waterproof between the sole and the shoe - in Seattle weather I notice if I've walked through a puddle. But I'm going to waterproof them again and keep them. Overall, just good enough to keep.

I am usually a 6.5 in Born shoes, but I ordered a half size up after reading reviews. I then returned the size 7 because they were too large. The 6.5 was true to size and fit perfectly. I love the style and they were very comfortable to wear during my recent vacation. They look great with jeans and dressy enough to wear with black pants for a more polished look in the evening.

Let me start with "I am a true size 10.5", and Born Dallia does not come in a 10.5. So, I ordered size 10, too small. I ordered size 11, and Im floating in them. Love the shoes - why on God's green earth do they not make size 10.5's???? Total discrimination to us that where that size (note: it happens in most all brands). Really stinks.

These boots fit great with a light sock. Every time I wear them, I get compliments. I wear them with jeans, skirts and dress pants to work or for casual. I sprayed them with a water protectant and the color held fast. Definitely please with this purchase!

I loved these shoes from the minute I slid them on. It feels like the shoe is giving your foot a hug! Yes I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true! Soft and snug, great arch support (and I have HIGH arches), and super comfortable. I bought them for work but the day they arrived I tried them on and didn’t want to take them off so I wore them grocery shopping and through the rest of my day just because they felt that good. I have them in black and brown and they are my go-to shoes. This is no small thing— I have back and foot issues and really struggle finding shoes I love. (I thought about whether people would notice I was wearing the same shoes in black and brown, but I’m 40 now, so who cares ?)

These fit my narrow 9.5 feet perfectly and look very stylish for someone who usually wears sneakers or hiking boots.

I am so thrilled with these boots! They were comfortable right out of the box and are very stylish! I wore them on a trip and they felt great running around airports. I ordered taupe which is a little lighter than they appear on Zappos, but I had seen them in person, so they were what I expected. I am tempted to order another color.

The fit and size are great. I can wear them to walk in and I can get through my 10-12 hour work day on my feet, although I am happy to take them off at the end of the day. They are very stylish and I am going to buy more--one thing I've learned in my 53 years is that if you find a pair of shoes that really works for you, buy more of them. You're going to wear them out and then the style will have gone away and there you are, starting over. I bought the black, and put the dark grey heather in my cart, but waited too long to pull the trigger--sold out. I am going to get the dark brown so I can wear them with navy and brown. Only complaint is that the leather on the back of the heal has worn or torn, I guess from my using the other shoe to get it off. I'll glue it or touch it up, and am being more careful now, but waah.

This shoe was oddly tight, and the fabric glued to the leather inside would not have allowed for it to relax and fit after wearing. I bought the same brand, very similar shoe, and they are slightly large. So much for the global market and manufacturing.

There is a problem with the side of the bootie scraping the ankle mentioned in other review. Great looking shoe, but it hurts!! Had to send it back. True to size. I have been a 6.5 or 7 for 40 years. The 7s fit fine.

This is the second pair of the Dallia I have purchased. Last winter bought the taupe color in size 7 and currently bought the charcoal. They are comfortable and a nice cross between a shoe and a bootie. They are casual to wear with jeans or can be semi dressy with a casual dress and leggings. True to size and fit. Wear with a thin footie or sock. Very happy with Born.

I really wanted to love this boot! It was actually the second time ordering this style. But in just the short walk down the hallway in my house, I could tell they would not work. They rubbed so badly on my heels that I knew they would cause blisters. I tried different socks. No bueno. Other than that they felt great on my foot.

After many try-ons and returns I finally found the bootie that is comfortable and super stylish. I really love the look and know I'll wear these with skirts, pants, dresses and shorts. The elastic gussets on each side of the ankle make putting them on easy but also more comfortable. The foot bed is the best of all I've tried on. It is softly padded. I tried them on with winter socks first and they're comfortable so the thinner socks of spring will be also. I wanted a bootie that had a clean look and others I tried - either the leather was too shiny because of water proofing or the boot looked a bit floppy. I mostly tried Born and I'm glad I finally found the one!

I had to take a half size up b/c they don't have 5.5, which allowed me to easily slip the insert that came with them out and replace it with a more rigid insert. Even before that a slightly thick sock worked well for the fit and the original arch support is good. I loved them the moment I put them on. Zero pain, great looking with jeans or dresses. They are one of those pairs of shoes which are so perfect that I'm about to order a second of the exact same shoes b/c I know I'll be sad when they wear out and they have a timeless look.

These boots felt great on my feet. They were a perfect fit and very comfortable. But I am returning because once I had them on with pants, they looked exactly like a pair of western boots I bought from Zappos recently. I think they are a good buy if that is what you are looking for, but I realized I wanted a bootie with a slightly more pointed toe and a dressier look. I can see why they have so many good reviews.

The coolest boots ever, I cried when I had to return them because they’re soO narrow they hurt my feet so bad!

I absolutely love the style of this boot! If I didn’t have to walk in them I would’ve kept them but I have pinky toe issues & need a very wide shoe & this were narrow but gorgeous!

i love these shoes - for me as an "old" lady they are "hot" and i feel so "cool" wearing them - they are very very comfortable - i do use a shoe horn to get them on but it's a small inconvenience because how many times do you take off your shoes while wearing them - the color is perfect - goes with most things & i am really enjoying them sooooooo much - the heel is a great height - they are easy to walk in because of the shape of the heel - so for knocking around these are just a very well made & well thought out creation - not very often do i find just the perfect footwear - thinking about an additional pair for when ...

a very nice little boot. leather, easy on, easy off. plus the sides are cut low enough that they don't cut into my ankles. this is my second pair--i also have them in light grey.

I want this same shoe in a higher just above ankle cut... with less elastic showing. They felt amazing on and would have been perfect for walking and standing at school all day. The amount of elastic you see makes these look cheap. The cut is too low and makes them look like big Men’s shoes. Cover the ankle- cover the elastic with leather...had to return. At $120 they had to be perfect to keep.

Love these boots. They are very comfortable. I have worn them daily for a few hours at a time to break them in with no problems at all. The style will go with everything I wear!

How fun are these? I was looking for an alternative to sneakers for running around town -- something comfortable that would dress me up, not down. Here we are. Perfect for the half-mile walk to the center of town, these slip on and off and have nice, comfortable heel. I wear them to work as well. The look is slightly -- though not unbearably -- western, with the narrower, slightly upturned toe. True to my other Born shoes, I floated between an 8.5 and a 9, but stuck with the 8.5, as I plan on wearing these with lighter socks on pleasant fall/spring days. Go up for heaver socks. The toe is quite pointy, and I have fall thumb width of space down there. It has no impact on the comfort, but these are pointy shoes.

I love these shoes. They are a soft sueded leather and the color (grey) is a light neutral grey that will go with many things. I love the stacked heel - a little bit higher than most Borns, but very stable with good tread on the sole. They look great with jeans. The fit on these shoes is true to size. I originally ordered a 1/2 size bigger but ended up sending them back because they were too long.
