Very comfortable & stylish. Born made me realize I am a size 7- not a 7.5. Not sure what I'd measure at store. Most of my shoes are 7.5, but I have wide feet. I can tuck my pants in, pull them over or roll them up at the ankle for the look I want.

This boot is really cute, I loved the way it looked but it is to wide looking on my foot. I usually wear a 7 so i ordered a 61/2 based on other reviews. the 61/2 was still to big. I live on the gulf coast so it doesn't get cold enough to wear thick socks. Unfortunately I will be returning them and try to find another boot I like.

Born boots have been my favorites over the past several years, but plantar fasciitis has kept me from wearing ones that had even a small heel (1.5 inches!) So I was looking for a cute boot with a low heel. These are perfect. The tread is totally fine, not slippery at all. My feet are not narrow but I can't wear really narrow shoes. These are just right - not wide and not narrow. And they are so cute. The distressed taupe is that perfect neutral, a warm grey-brown color. I'm wearing them with skirts and ankle length jeans. The way they dip in the front is really flattering - they show off the curves of your legs. Many compliments!

Very comfortable cute boots. I am often a 10.5, slightly narrow, the 10 was a perfect fit.

My second pair of Born boots. These are an excellent pair and much more versatile than the first pair of Born I have. Can be worn with casual outfits as well as work attire. I like that the toe box isn't too clunky, like a lot of boots with low heels. I finally settled on these after having spent years trying to replace a pair of black boots I foolishly threw out after the leather got scuffed up. Now that I have these, I can say it was worth the wait. For reference, I tried out boots by Frye, Merrell, Kenneth Cole and Cole Haan, but found these far and away the best.

Born is my favorite shoe company by far, so this is my fifth pair of their boots. Their craftsmanship is usually first rate. Although I'm a bit disappointed in this pair's slightly uneven trim work at the welt, the comfort, style & rich reddish-brown color convinced me to keep the boots. Born made more attractive short boots (with stacked cowboy heels) years ago. If anyone's listening, please revisit those styles!

Was looking for another Born to replace my best ankle boot ever--the Born Raisa. The style is nearly the same but the toe box is too narrow on the Regis . Ordered my usually size in Born--9. Will probably exchange for half size larger.

I have problem feet. Always have. Thus, I was nervous about ordering boots online, but loved the style so much--ankle height, detail, and low heel. I gained confidence reading other reviews and ordered the low end of my size range based on those (in brown). Using a liner sock and a thick boot sock combination (typical for me), I tried them on and was pleased to find them super comfortable, especially the arch support and toe room. But what really made me ecstatic about them was that I used them to country line dance on the first wearing. I've never danced in such comfortable shoes. I was so happy with these that I've ordered the same boot in black. Worth every penny.

I ordered 3 different low rise boots that I need for work. The first 2 I tried on pinched or rubbed in different areas on my feet, but these Born Regis felt really comfortable from the moment I put them on. I'm a size 9 with slightly long toes that usually need a wider toe box, have a pretty high arch and don't like a very high heel as the pressure hurts the bottom of my foot after extended wear. So far these boots are nothing but comfort for my feet and they look good as a bonus!

This boot is another in my collection of awesome Born boots. They are comfortable, stylish, true to size, and beautiful leather. I order Born boots sight-unseen, and I am never disappointed.

Pretty much perfect! I was looking for a versatile, comfortable boot to wear to Ireland and England in the spring, and this one is definitely coming on the trip! True to size for Born ( I wear a 7, bought a 7), and also true to Born, very comfortable. It has a nice style to it—looks great with pants, skirts and dresses. I’ll be able to walk a lot in these! Love them.

Just right. My second pair of Born boots. Good toei robin. Nice height and like the dip in the front.

They fit perfectly and are really comfortable. The distressed taupe is not taupe, however -- it's medium brown. Returning due to the color, not the fit or comfort!

Very attractive boot. Goes well with skinny jeans or leggings or jeans rolled up a notch, etc. comfortable so far.

These seem true to size to me and were super comfy out of the box - no breaking-in needed! Love these!

I absolutely love these boots -- they are incredibly comfortable, and the adjustable buckles allow for a custom fit (for my flat feet/narrow heel.) I like them so much, this is my second pair (I wanted them in a different color.)

I have tried probably 12 pairs of black booties, looking for a replacement for my much loved 9 year old Eastland boots. This was the winner (thanks Zappos and UPS). I ordered up based on comments, but found it was true to size and needed my usual 9. (should have known this, since some were saying runs small). Start with your true size... Nice classic look, feels more substantial than some I tried, and one of the most comfortable. I think the dip in front will be nice (versus several I tried that were very stiff across front or actually had a higher front with potential to rub).

Love these boots! Perfect for jeans or pants. Especially like the buckle accents and the small dip in the front of the boot. Very comfortable boot that can be worn many ways.

I really wanted to like these, since they are very similar in look to the late-lamented Born Raisa, my favorite Born boot ever. The Regis is so close! But no cigar. It's a bit shapeless across the broad part of the foot and it's a tiny bit narrower overall. The decorative straps feel a little flimsy, and the zipper was very sticky on the boots I tried on. On the plus side, the semi-cowboy boot shape is comfortable on the ankle, and the cushioning of the footbed is nice. And the taupe is a lovely color.

I normally wear a size 8, although in athletic shoes or some dress shoes a size 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. I have a pair of the Born Regis that I've owned for at least 6 years. They are so incredibly comfortable, I can walk miles in them with no issue, and I still get compliments often. When I saw Born still carries this style I immediately ordered them as backup to my first pair. Although, to be honest, don't know if my old pair will ever completely break down! For fit, comfort and quality you won't be sorry. Strongly recommend to purchase them!

These boots fit perfectly. Love the buckle detailing. Heel is great height for jeans or pants. Dip in front is unique.

Super cute short boot. Love the 'dip' in front. Very comfortable on very poor feet (rheumatoid arthritis). Great neutral color to wear with anything. Thanks to Zappos for their great customer service!
