When you remove the insole on these shoes, the shoe is very, very deep, and even my custom made orthotic could not make up for the difference. Plus, the insole makes the shoe very heavy. I was bummed, I was looking forward to the cool technology.

These are really great shoes. I needed walking shoes for an upcoming trip but wanted them to be somewhat stylish. My feet are wide just at the front but nowhere else, so I have to find shoes that are not too tight around the toes. There is one drawback in my opinion with these black shoes. The outside is black of course, but the inside is a very light gray. That gray rolls around the back edge of the shoe and is very visible. So if you wear black socks, there is an annoying light gray line showing, about 3/16" wide. I liked the shoes enough to buy some black shoe dye (and acetone to prep the area with a Q-tip) and dyed that top visible area black. There is stitching defining what area to dye so you have a line to go by. See photos of one original shoe and one shoe with those edges dyed black. I masked off the area at the bottom with painter's tape, stuffed the inside of the shoe with a napkin so nothing dripped on the inside, and meticulously painted on the dye with a very small brush, making sure there was not too much paint on the brush to be runny at the edges of the painted area (otherwise it can bleed). Any slightly rough edges I evened out with a thin black sharpee. I'm a painter so I have a steady enough hand to do this, and it was worth it to me not to be bugged by that light gray line!

I really wanted these shoes to work as they are the perfect mix of casual and attractive. Unfortunately they have a very wide heel that makes my foot slip up and down even with inserts and causes instability. The pair that I wore for a walk around town stretched in about 4 hours of wear. Darn I really wanted these to work but they simply do not fit properly.

Fit was right on for my size 10 foot. Extremely comfortable, love the soft feel of the shoe itself both inside and out. The velco closure allows you to either wear the shoe tight or loose. I love to track ability with steps. The first pair I had to return because the track device did not work but it was no problem to exchange and the new shoes worked immediately. Love these shoes and I'm considering buying another pair in a different style.

My comment is about style, These are basically clogs with velcro. Very wide and solid but not very stylish. Would make a good work shoe.

I am returning these shoes very comfortable but frumpy looking. Got them for a long trip to Europe and wanted something to wear that was comfortable besides athletic shoes, read all the reviews and understood these would be comfortable. But after a few days of wearing them in the house I did find they started to stretch out in the toe area. Because they are flat on the bottom they look frumpy. For the designers I think it would help if the sole had a distinction between the heel and the front of the foot.

My favorite shoe right now! I bought the red and love the color with the white soles. I do notice on these that the heel felt a bit loose but I just put on a thicker pair of socks and they are perfect. They are definitely not a 1/2 size too big so I didn't want to exchange for a smaller size. The thicker socks do the trick. So stylish and I'm thinking I might have to buy the black pair too.

Nice shoe overall. Very comfortable to walk in and good overall support. One issue I have is it isn't great for high arches. Not because of the support from the foot bed, but the across the top of the shoe where the opening is. It cuts into the top of the foot a bit and a little snug.

I have been searching for several years for shoes to wear when travelling to urban areas (such as Paris, Washington DC, and other cities in which I do a lot of walking). It is not easy to find a shoe that a) is truly comfortable so that my feet aren't killing me after an hour or two of walking, and b) is not hideously ugly, and c) is not a sneaker/athletic shoe/lace up shoe. Several weeks ago, I decided to buy the Alegria TRAQ in the Black "Bob & Weave" color (looks kind of like snakeskin) to wear on my upcoming 10-day vacation to Washington DC and Charleston. Not the most stylish looking shoe (and not one I would wear with a skirt or dress), but decent looking. These worked wonderfully on my vacation! I walked a lot - roughly 6+ miles per day - and though my feet were slightly tired and sore, it was very minor. They weren't killing me as I have experienced with other shoes in the past (in the past, my feet hurt so much after a day of walking that I could barely make it back to my hotel). The only negative that I have is that the step tracking feature didn't seem to work. I installed the app on my iPhone and connected it to the shoes successfully. But when I actually walked, the app never recorded my steps, even after I double-checked (and triple-checked) that the app was still linked to the shoes. Not important to me, as my iPhone records my steps, but something to think about if that feature on the shoes is important to you.

This shoe has a larger heel area, so my heel slips out. It also has a pretty flat foot bed. If you don't want a lot of arch support, this would be a good shoe for you. The Allegra Quik has excellent arch support and a narrower heel, so I like it much better than this shoe, the Allegra Qin.

I really wish these shoes were designed a bit snugger. I also don't love the angled strap over the top of the shoe. However, the color is amazing and the support is incredible. It just felt too "granny" to me. I would love a more streamlined look - maybe with a thinner strap. Had to return.
