They are not the prettiest! BUT they are WARM, also alot of space between the ground and your actual foot. Follow the reviews tho, they run 1/2-1 size larger which is great for me, BUT i did have to exchange for size.

Like a similar style boot from Keen, these Columbia boots are too inflexible to make long walks comfortable. They did seem to be extremely warm and perhaps with a chance to break them in would have worked. Unfortunately, I'm unwilling to tromp around the house for days to try to make that happen.

Love these boots! Purchased them for snowshoeing, and can’t wait to use them. Due note, these are true outdoor activity boots. As such, they’re weather resistant which means if you’re looking for flexibility, this is not the boot. This boot is stiff and truly lends itself to outdoor winter activities where you need extra support, safety, weather protection, etc. (snowshoeing, hiking, snowmobiling, etc).

Have not tested them yet...still summer! Bought them for football season. I work at the stadium, hopefully they will stop the foot freeze

I was in the process of buying winter boots for a trip to Yellowstone in the winter. This boot, since I will be packing it, seemed somewhat heavy. The workmanship, color (storm), & style were just fine. I usually order a 7.5 in athletic shoes & boots. This boot in 7.5 was way too big even with thick socks so I really can't comment on comfort since they just didn't fit my foot. I'm not sure that a 7 might have even been too big. With all this said, I kept the Columbia Ice Maiden II that I ordered instead.

I found the fit to be too short and much too wide. They are extremely stiff, more like climbing boots, rather than cold weather hiking boots. It's a shame. They seem really warm and for the right foot, probably great.

I love it! It's definitely super warm and keep your foot dry. I wish I buy those boots months ago because you see I am working for USPS as a Letter carrier. I wear different boots and tired of get wet or cold. But this one...hands down. I am so happy to buy those boots again in the future. High recommend!!

I bought these Bugaboot, because I work outside in the cold weather. These boots have been the best for working in those wet, cold weather. They keep my feet warm and dry.

These are by far the best snow boots I've owned. The tread is like no other, obviously, and you can tell! Definitely bought a second pair for when these bite the dust.

I finally had to retire my old Northface snow boots which I loved. I was looking for a boot that would be good for clearing snow and able to snowshoe in. Since I buy boots so infrequently, I am very particular on color and style. I really liked the Bugaboot in women's that was grey/teal, but they were sold out in my size 9.5. I do not like white boots and really not a fan of black and red. So I opted to go to a Men's size 7.5 in Black/Blue Phoenix. Fit fine while snowblowing, great traction and my feet were toasty warm. Columbia should look at what color combination that sells out first, and keep that in mind the next time when they go into production.

My wife loves them. Finally, boots that keep her warm and dry. She used them in -15 and stayed comfortable.

So I'm typically a 9.5 and some of these reviews did not help. The boot is true to size. The soles are powered by Mitchellan which is awesome for grip on icy terrain. They look heavy but are not. So far they're very warm. I ordered a 10 to be safe I sized up due to bulky socks. If you rather have a snug fit then order your size. I'm good with having a little space since wool socks can be very thick. I'm super happy.

I love these boots. They are comfortable, warm and well made. I moved from NV to SD and needed some serious snow boots to survive the snowy frozen SD and these worked perfectly.

Super warm, great for snowshoeing and hiking. Could be better padded in sole. I recommend thick socks for comfort. I went up a half size for width and that worked great.

If you want a warm boot this is the one! A little stiff on the calf at first but gets better as you wear them. Not too heavy for a winter boot either.

Amazing boots! I am always cold and I went to visit family in PA (I've lived in NC for 15 years now) and these boots kept my feet warm and dry while hiking and playing out in the snow. I love these boots more than I thought I would. I got them in a size 9 which is perfect if I wear a thick sock. If I wear a thin sock there is too much wiggle room. I highly recommend these for the super grippy tread, warm interior, and durability. These boots are made to last.

I use these boots for covering soccer games during winter season and they kept my toes warm! The fact that they are light is really nice because I can still run onto the field for an injury and not look like a baby learning how to walk. AND they are waterproof so that's a huge plus too! Cold, wet feet are not fun during winter sports.

You will not be disappointed with these high quality boots. They are cute, slide right on, and have great support for ankles and footing. They are warm as well. I feel very confident walking in snow and ice but always be careful on ice.

I've had this pair for 2.5 snow seasons working as a snow maker at a ski resort in central PA. Perfect amount of insulation for someone who's constantly moving. Great fit. The first gen of the bugaboot had a sneaker like feel that I really miss, but I like these etter than the gen iii's. My only complaint is the color. "Sunset Red" is not red. It's pink. I was really hoping for a nice blood red since purple or blue were not options (my resort requires black for when we fill in for other departments). I suppose if my only complaint is a smidge of color, and the fact they've lasted this long given what I put them through, I can't really complain!! Finally need to replace laces. That's it.

I purchased these boots 3-4 months ago. I live in the Northern Rocky Mts and spend 1/3 of my time off the grid. I shovel a lot of snow and spend hours in these boots. The traction is head and shoulders above any other pair I have owned. They are comfortable all day, hiking or snow shoeing. They ran a 1/2 size large, but 8.5 fit me well ( I am usually a 9) with heavy socks and custom orthotics. They required a bit of break-in time, but not much. I find the lacing system quick and appreciate the features like a usual pull tab in the back and a ring to hook gaiters to. Great job Columbia!!
