Always size down in Docs. I wear a 7.5 and got a 6. they fit tight at first, but they are leather! They stretch with love and time. I love these boots so much. I wear them to work, to a girls night out, just around!

These are beautiful and high-quality. A little roomy, but not as much as a half-size big. Not a lot of arch support, but very comfortable otherwise.

I've been a 5.5 most of my life & thank gravity for spreading my foot wider & longer but still with its high arch & instep. Much bigger selection in size 6 than 5.5! So I got these in 6 which is usually just right. I find these just a smidge large for a 6 so despite my wide foot I have room to wiggle my toes. I rely on inserts for arch support but the insert made the shoe too tight. Yes, it IS a struggle to get my foot into the narrow opening in the morning though it's getting easier. I would know, too, because I've worn these every single day since they arrived. I wear them with cute socks, black tights & a skirt. And they're DMs!

So so happy with these boots! Have a time getting them on, but once they are….I don’t want to take them off!! Comfortable, super stylish and many compliments. Happy I spent the $$

Much bigger than what I normally wear. I had to go down 2 sizes! But overall, very comfortable for new Doc Martens. It was a little difficult to put on at first, but it loosens up with time.

I LOVE The look of these boots, and pretty much a huge fan of Doc Martens in general. However the first time I wore these my feet were in pain! The top hitting my skin around my ankle when I walk, as well as the bottom of my feet. Definitely not walking shoes, unless I just have to break them in a bit.

I got the Dr Martens Rometty Sanguine in a size 6 Women! Im usually a 7-7.5 in Womens. Theyre SO CUTE! i love the shape / silhouette of them & theyre also super comfy. Only this is, I’m about 5’7” & they make me around 5’9-5’10 ish which is kinda tall but overall rly cute

Im typically a 9-9.5. Docs don’t do half sizes, so I ordered a Ten; probably could have gone with a Nine? Still very comfortable and happy, but understand - I have high arches. “Green Superfeet” insoles kind of high. And I’m a fan of wool socks. With these, sz10, it’s still a touch roomy; so I say, perhaps a 9 would have been fine. Then again, I’m not exchanging them as I personally appreciate some of the room. Will also say, it took me a few days to get used to walking with them - I learned I need to take shorter steps. Perhaps it was my gait, but after the first day my hip joints were KILLIng me... taking slightly shorter steps corrected that, and theyve been my daily ever since. Been good, too, since I slouch less now when walking.

I LOVE these boots. They are pretty much the only shoes I wear. I am writing this review after owning these shoes for 4 months. I generally wear a size 8 shoe and my feet and ankles are fairly narrow. I ordered a size 7 because reviews said to size down. When I first got them, they felt a little tight on my left foot and I considered returning them. I'm so glad that I didn't. After wearing them for a few days they broke in nicely and they fit me perfectly. They do scuff easily because the leather is soft, but it doesn't really take away from the style of the boot.

I've had these for a few months now and I'm fairly certain I will have them for the rest of my life (is that dramatic?). They were a little loose and stuff when I started, a little clunky, 4 stars for comfort, but I put in my cheap arch support insoles from Amazon and some magic happened and it became like walking on clouds (so for the shoe itself, 4). They look badass, go with everything, I get compliments whenever I wear them, and could walk all day in them. Worth every penny.

I normally wear a size 8 1/2 (39) in European sizes. I tried a 7 which is a 40 European which was supposed to be a 9 but they were way too big for me. I am waiting for the size 6 to come back in stock because the color is gorgeous. I also tried the similar style with laces but the boot comes higher up on your ankles and one of them hurt. So all are going back and I hope I can get the correct size for me. They are also a lot heavier than I expected but I don’t think it will be a problem.

I’m a 7.5 and the 7 fits well— the boots are heavy, not sure I would wear them all day, but fine for errands or part of the day.

These boots are so cute, I love them! Read the reviews before choosing a size and I’m glad that I did because they do run 1 size bigger. I usually wear a size 9 so I got the size 8 and it fit perfectly!

Size down for docs; I normally wear a US 7 but a US 6 in these boots fits perfectly. Super comfy right outside the box! Great quality as always and they feel very durable. The platform isn’t too arched and the boot adds about 3-4 inches without putting a strain on your feet. Already want another pair in maroon!! Can’t recommend these enough.

Oh boy. These are incredible. After reading reviews I ordered both 10 (my usual in Docs) and 9, and the 10 was HUGE on me, which made the boot feel awkward and clunky. The 9, however, fits like a dream. I have average to wide ankles/calves and the opening is a little tight but not uncomfortably so. Arch support felt pretty decent and they’re not as heavy as they look. These are seriously the perfect Chelsea - super comfy and stylish with just a hint of edge. Gonna wear these puppies all the time.

I really loved these boots but I was looking for more of a maroon/burgundy color. These boots had more of a very dark purple tint to them. Real pretty but couldn't figure out what to wear with them.

Really comfortable without having to break them in. Clunky. That’s the look. Get a lot f compliments on them. Look good with skinny jeans, dresses.

I love these boots. They're super stylish, quirky, sturdy, warm, and an overall great boot. The only thing I dislike is that it is crazy heavy.

My favorite boot ever! They do seem to run a bit big, but I just wear them with thick socks. They’re sooo comfortable! And I get compliments every time I wear them.

These boots were a gift for my granddaughter. She absolutely LOVES them - both for style and comfort. They are roomy enough to allow her to wear thick comfortable socks, which is perfect for boots.

I usually go up to a 9 in Docs but when I originally bought these in 9 they were HUGE. Unfortunately, couldn’t get the butterscotch smooth color in 8 so went for the sanguine. THEY ARE AWESOME ! The 8 is much better and even though I couldn’t get the original color I wanted I actually think this leather will not scratch as easily as the smooth.

The length of these boots are pretty spot on. The rest of the boot seems very roomy. But the opening is pretty tight although manageable. I did not realize that they were European 42. I have inserts for a better fit and a little more arch support. They are comfortable and lightweight. The next time I will try both a 9 and a 10. The color is a true black.

Super cute and comfy! These fit true to Dr. Martens typical sizing. I followed the review suggestions to size down and ordered a size 6. It was WAY too small when they arrived. My usual Dr. Martens size is 7, which did fit perfectly. The ankle is a bit snug to get my foot into but with time I expect they will stretch a bit. Other than that they are comfy right out of the box!

I wear a size 8, got size 7, fit great. Too heavy though
