The fit and size on these boots was good... They also looked very nice... the only reason I returned them is that for me, they didn’t look good on me... Totally personal observation! Nice boot though...

Very pleased w these. Fit well. Comfortable and waterproof--a real plus here in Seattle. Look very good w Jean's, not clunky like rain boots can be.

I love the look of these! So far it (haven't worn them out yet) seems they may fit my winter boot bill. Color is beautiful! If they truly hold up in weather I will be a huge fan!

I have average size 7.5 (maybe 8) feet and ordered 8s given a lot of reviews. The 8s were really big even with my thick winter ski socks. I had no problem getting them on, contrary to what other reviews reported. The boots were a huge disappointment in quality and comfort. The leather was very stiff and the footbed wasn’t at all cushioned. I wear hoka running shoes pretty much every day and was hoping these could work when the weather isn’t great. Definitely not! Too bad. They’re cute. I think others that don’t need a lot of cushioning may find they’re fine. I don’t think they’d fit well if you have a wide foot.

Very difficult to get my foot into but once on they were too big. Not much padding between your foot and the ground; they felt like floppy house-shoes.

I really wanted to keep this boot, it was exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately it was too narrow for me, I have a wide foot but was hoping that it would fit. I am a size 7 and ordered a 7 and the length was perfect.

Too small and too big! Unbelievably difficult boot to put on, possibly due to my high arch, but the boot needs a zipper. Once on, it was too roomy and I needed thicker socks but no way I could get my foot in it then. I wonder if the opening will break in and stretch with time and make it easier to get the boot on. Even then, I think the upper will be broken down because of the struggle it takes to worm your foot in. Left boot was slightly less difficult to get on but the outside sagged in uncomfortably, rubbing at the ankle. So weird that these boots are too small and too big at the same time. They were not warm either. I love Chacos but these are disappointing. The black looks like a rain boot. Sorry Zappos, these boots are going back.

Wish I knew of a warm winter boot with excellent arch support and traction to walk on icy sidewalks

Quality materials, good thick sole, moderate insulation - just too small in the ankle, so I can't pull them past my heel. They are very difficult to pull on, in fact I couldn't get them completely on. There is no "give" in the material so my heel couldn't get into the boot. If they had a zipper, they would be better. I can tell they would keep my feet warm and dry, but I'd have to get at least 1 size larger to get them on my feet and then I wonder if they would feel too roomy on my feet. I'm returning them and looking for a style with a zipper.

These boots are beautiful however to try and get your foot into them is difficult. You need to have legs like Olive Oil! My calves are not big and it was a struggle to get my foot into this boot. It's ashame because they are nice looking and I had to return them. It was too much to have to get my foot in and take it out. Once I got my foot in the size was fine however they are way to narrow at the top.
