I am a former runner and 10K competitor who has retired from running due to age and injuries. I have flat feet and a serious overpronation problem according to my podiatrist. I have switched to walking and biking for exercise. My job also requires standing for up to eight hours. The heel counter and foot bed provides the stability which I need for long walks and prolonged standing. The shoe also accommodates most over the counter insoles and custom orthotics after removing the stock insole if additional arch and foot support is required.

I really like the more squared tone on these shoes, just gives my toes a more open feel as compared to the more rounded toe typical on most other shoes.

During a ski boot fitting I discovered I have significant overpronation. I purchased the Kayano 25's as a replacement for a few older pairs of ASICS GEL Venture 5. They have made a huge difference! A few times a week my wife and I will go out for a 3 mile walk. With my old shoes I was experiencing significant soreness not only in my feet, but in my knees and hips. The first time walking a few miles in the Kayano 25 was amazing. I felt like I could have kept on walking for hours.

The shoe is great, fits well and very comfortable to wear all day. I purchased it to help with my Planters Fasciitis problem and love the shoe, the support and comfort it provides. Highly recommend to people with who are runners, overweight, have flat feet or who have symptoms of Platers Fasciitis.

I have been running in the ASICS Gel Kayano for over 20 years. However, this is the first time I’ve ordered the 2E. It not too wide and gives me the additional room I’ve recently needed. Love the styling as well even though that’s not a priority for me being a runner. Now I just hope that ASICS doesn’t change it up much when they release the 26. If they do, I’m going to buy as many 25’s as I can find.

Very nice looking shoe

This is my fifth pair of Kayanos. To be honest, I don't really even look at other running shoes. They generally run a bit small so while I wear a 10.5 or 11 in most other shoes, I wear an 11.5 in these. The toe box is roomier than a lot of other shoes, which I like a lot. Unless they change something dramatically, I'll probably keep buying Kayanos for a long time to come.

Fantastic shoe. I have a 12.5 foot with regular width and moderate arch. These shoes felt perfect. I usually have back pain after my runs but I just ran 5 miles and no pain what so ever. I highly recommend these.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever! No break in time needed. I have bought numerous pairs of gel-kayano’s and love that they redesigned the toe box making it roomier. Don’t hesitate to purchase these. I ?? Zappos!

I have tried different running shoes from Brooks to other Asics such as the Revel or even the Gel-Quantum but these are by far the best shoes I have ever had. The width is a tad wider than say the Quantum or revel and they feel tremendous. I run 6 to 7 miles a day - 7 days a week and my feet feel great. Please don't change anything about these shoes. I'm ordering two more pairs just to have on hand for when these are worn out! GREAT JOB! LOVE THEM!

Favorite kayanos yet!

Asics FINALLY changed the fit back to the old style. Not super small/tight anymore! THANK YOU!!! Love them!

My foot measures a paddle like 9.5 (US) and 2E so I've been instructed to normally buy at least 1 full size up. I've been blessed to have amazingly flat feet, basically there's no arch and I'd leave a solid print on the ground that would look like a duck. The GEL-Kayano 25 that I purchased appeared to run a little narrow. I initially bought a 10.5 in 2E but it was tight so got the 4E and it fit well. I've only been out on a short job with this pair so far but it's quite comfortable and supportive.

I have had several Kayano's with the latest before being a '23' which I like much better and wish I would have gotten two pairs - it felt much cushier. That being said got this at a bargain so no real worries. Being a really long time customer I know what size I like and with the great return policy its nice not to worry about ANY problems.

These are a half size too long. I normally wear a size 11 but had to exchange them for a 10.5. They are very stylish, but for the price I would have expected more comfort and support. Overall a good sneaker but for 160 bucks I expect a great sneaker.

Well, they still need to be broken in.. I never spent over $120 for sneakers and was hoping these would be great to run in. I can feel there is about as much arch support as a pair of bunny rabbit slippers. These shoes are very FLAT! They look stylish & cool, and the heel seems to have good support. I bought these to replace my Asics Gel-Cumulus 19's which I put a TON of running miles on. Overall I feel I bought a good-looking shoe, but for the money, I was hoping for something more comfortable to run in.

The shoes are what I was expecting but not thrled about paying for what is supposed to be a new pair of shoes but when I receiver them the box was not the factory box and stated it was damaged so they repackaged them if I would have seen that I would have not bought also the box they shipped was of such foor quality that it was severely deterioted and didn't do well of protecting the shoes

Sole tread wore out quicker then any Asics shoe I’ve had and I have been running in ASICS shoes for over 20 years. Very disappointing.

Great sneakers and they feel comfortable - but - they are too narrow to a point that they hurt. I always buy ASICS because they are a bit wider than, say, Nike - however this style or this particular pair was narrower.

I have always loved ASICS - the go-to-brand for my wide feet. However, this shoe design is horrible. Seems that these shoe companies are dumping good design for the sake of a new design. This shoe is narrower than the old 4E, but too tall in the toe box. And the opening bites in to the ankle bones. My old Kayano 17s had nice dips along the opening so that that didn't happen. Also, not enough cushion on the sole or around the Achilles tendon to grip the heel. So disappointed - guess I'm going to have to try a different brand now.
