I have always worn Glycerin. I am a gym teacher of 28 years and find these shoes to be most supportive. I have a bunion and also some knee problems. These shoes have a big toe box and I am able to either use a custom orthotic or wear the splint for my bunion under my shoe. I did have to get the wide option, but I was very glad it was available. Last year the 15 was a big disappointment since I was not able to get the 15. My bunion had gotten so large I wasn’t able to fit it into anything that was available. So glad Brooks fixed that. Zappos was super great with all the returns that occurred last year. Zappos is the best thing ever!!

This is a comfortable shoe with just the right amount of support. I wear a wide width, and usually wear a size 8 shoe, but in running shoes I always order up half a size. The 8 1/2 wide fit me perfect. I highly recommend this shoe.

I really like the changes made to Glycerin16! Improved toe box. Nice and comfortable. I wear narrow so I wish there was a choice in the colors for that width.

I love these shoes! I just started running and I really appreciate the extra cushion that these provide. I have both the Glycerin 15s and the Ghost 10s and I have to say that these are my favorite. They seem to be a bit roomier and more comfortable in the toe box than the last iteration. My normal shoe size is 7.5W and I ended up purchasing an 8W to leave a bit of extra room in the front of the shoe. Very happy with the shoe and would definitely repurchase.

I started wearing Brooks shoes about 4 years ago. Now, it's possible that my feet have grown a little in that time, but it's hard for me to believe that I have grown from a size 9 to a size 10 1/2. However, that is what I had to order to get the proper fit. What's going on Brooks?

I wore the 15’s and was pleased with them. The 16’s are a little roomier in the toe box, have comfortable support and bounce off the pavement. They are cute as well!

This is my first pair of Glycerins. I have worn other Brooks for years none as comfortable as these and I love the 30 day try out program. I recommend 1/2 size larger

Love the shoes but Brooks seems to be continuing with the trend of their shoes being at least 1/2-1 full size smaller. I am exchanging these for a larger pair.

I have work these for approx 8 years and they keep getting smaller and narrower. The cushioning feels about the same, but the size is getting smaller. Exchanged for 1/2 size larger. Every other show I still wear the same size since 8th grade but these run small.

I don't know what's going on with Brooks, but their sizes are all over the place. I usually wear an 11M, but my first pair of Brooks sneakers were 11 1/2 M. My second pair were 12 M. I had trouble finding the correct size for my third pair, so I finally ordered a 12W. I think they are too big! I have never experienced this problem with any other brand of shoe in my entire life. What is going on here?

Sad that I’m sending them back. Brooks changes their sizing on their shoes too much year to year. I love the color and the style, just not the fit.

I have worn Brooks sneakers for many years and have seen many changes over the years. Their best sneaker in my opinion was the glycerine 13. The 16 runs very big. I usually wear a 9 1/2 wide because their sneakers run so small. I would only need a 8 1/2 wide in this 16 version. I was very disappointed in this sneaker this time. The saddle in the middle which is supposed to give you some support is much smaller than other years. My feet didn't feel stable in the sneaker. The cushioning is not as good as past years either. Brooks had a very good neutral sneaker for years and I didn't mind spending the money to buy them because they were worth every penny, but the quality is no longer there in these glycerine' s. Not sure what brand to buy now. One thing thing that hasn't changed is the fantastic quality of service at Zappos. Thank you for being there for me.

Fit was smaller. I am trying a 1/2 size up and hoping that works

I am very disappointed in Brooks for dumbing down the Glycerin after the Glycerin 14. I tried both the Glycerin 15 and the Glycerin 16 and returned both.

I have been wearing Brooks Glycerin for AT LEAST 4 years now. These aren't the same. They feel like I am wearing sketchers go walk. Squishy and not supportive enough. I didn't like Glycerin 15 either. Please bring back something like Glycerin 14!!! I have Mortons neuroma and plantar fascitis and Glycerins have been my life saver! I am disappointed with this new version. Like I said, too squishy!

I have worn various Glycerin models exclusively for about 10 years and they have fit my foot very well. I just got a pair of the Glycerin 16 shoes today and I have to send them back tomorrow. The "last" seems to be the same as my current Glycerin 14s, but the upper is completely different from the earlier model. First, the design of perforations of the fabric allow no lateral "give". Second, I wear orthotics which have been fine in various earlier models of the Glycerin. However, in the model 16, the orthotic goes all the way up the side of the shoe and makes the fabric bulge out by about 1/3 inch on the inner side. The shoe is totally unwearable.

I’ve been a Glycerin girl since Version 11, and this time Brooks have it all wrong. The 16 is waaaay too narrow and small. Very disappointed :( I hate returning stuff but unfortunately I have to do it.

The Glycerin is really the fancier version of the Ghost. I have been wearing the Ghost 11 for the past couple of shoe cycles and wanted to try the Glycerin 17. My coach, who happens to run for Brooks!, told me to just get the Glycerin 16 and save 30$ as they are essentially the same shoe minus a few styling upgrades. The Glycerin is a really comfortable, cushioned shoe. Neutral with average arch support. I love it as much as the ghost but honestly cannot tell any big differences! I am a neutral foot and run 30-40 miles per week. So far the will be just another style option for me.

This shoe is top notch! It is very stylish and has a plush comfort. I owned the glycerin 15’s and these are just as comfortable. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these help combat some of the discomfort. I just add a tread labs insert to help with arch support. The only change I didn’t like was that the heel cup in the 16’s isn’t quite as deep. But I would still say this is one of the best shoes out there!

Love Love Love!!! So much better than the 15's. More support in the midsection. Roomy toolbox. I have been pleased with all of my Glycerin's except for the 15. The 16's are comfortable and cushioned. No need to break in. So glad Brooks updated this shoe!
