The number one thing for me about this bag is that it is so lightweight. I have shoulder issues and can’t carry heavy bags or backpacks. It provides a decent capacity with just enough organizational pockets, and feels barely there on the shoulder as long as I don’t load it down. The strap is smooth and just wide enough, adjustable and plenty long. The bottom stays wide and flat and the sides have enough structure for a true bucket bag shape without collapsing into a flat or shapeless mass. There are also two kinda weird side “pockets” with both a zipper and magnetic closure. They work ok for a pair of sunglasses, that’s about it. But they do contribute to the bag’s “cuboid” look. Things I don’t like: the “drawstring.” This is the only leather piece on the bag, and it is stiff and sticks straight out. It didn’t help the structure and it wasn’t much use as a drawstring. I hated it and cut it off, and replaced it with a nice-looking elastic drawstring from a pair of pants. You could be creative and give the bag a different look just by putting in a new drawstring. I might try a red velvet ribbon sometime, or a satin cord. I’d prefer a magnetic closure at the top rather than the turnkey thing, but it’s not bad. It feels pretty secure, and I don’t even use the drawstring other than decoratively. But if I had to worry about pickpockets it would be a different story. I don’t care for the abundant gold hardware. The nylon bag is so clean and utilitarian, I’d prefer less glitz. Silver or black hardware would be great. As long as i’m dreaming, I might as well mention that I’d love to have a bright interior, like red or blue, although the gray isn’t bad— It’s better than black, which would make it hard to find things. I also wouldn’t mind some more exciting color choices for the exterior, like jade green or bright red. But overall, it’s a very light, useful little bag with a cool geometric look.
