My 8 year old son has had these for less then two weeks and the white rubber at the toe is separating from the mesh. We have bought Nike sneakers in the past that were similar in style and they held up really well. The quality is just not there. Very disappointing! I shouldn’t have to worry about this when purchasing shoes!

I have been buying Nikes for my 8 1/2 year old for years. This style fell apart very quickly. One of the pics below is after 2 weeks and the other is after 6 weeks. This is just from normal 8-year-old wear-and-tear. He's not wearing them to play soccer of anything like that.

We received these sneakers lone week ago. The front has already torn off. I know my kids are tough on shoes, but I'd expect Nike sneakers to last longer than a week. Am incredibly disappointed.

The rubber at the toe separated after 2 weeks. My son loves these sneakers but the quality is poor.

Unfortunately, these sneakers lasted my son 3 weeks. The quality was pretty bad and they really fell apart. I ended up sending them back, and --I love Zappos!--Zappos was totally cool with that. I wouldn't recommend these. Buy another sneaker. Nike products are usually far sturdier than this.

Bought these for my grandson. Wonderful fit, he loves them. Stylish and comfortable especially since he has a wide foot.

Sneakers fit great and they are very comfortable for me. I have a bit of a wider foot and they aren’t tight at all.

My son loves these. They were true to size for him.

My little guy has wide feet and I was delighted to have found these shoes! He says they are super comfy and light.

Great shoes for an active kid! No complaints on these so far. Our 8-year-old says they are definitely kickball-approved for recess at school! As for fit, they are pretty true to size. We purchased the wide because he has always had issues with Nikes running narrow. That being said, we probably could have gone with the regular width on these.

The shoes were stylish and comfortable but ran small. I needed at least half a size bigger.

I just bought a second pair of these because my son was comfortable in them. Unfortunately he didn't tell me they were coming apart (as I now also see in other people's photos) until the sole was nearly off the shoe. He's required to participate in gym, and I went for what I knew would work and get delivered in one day, which were these. I'm also happy to support Nike. That said, obviously they aren't well-constructed. And, to my eye, they look narrow in front. They may very well be, and he isn't feeling it as much as he ought to. If he were not comfortable, he wouldn't wear them, and he wears them daily, but I have my doubts that we'll buy them again. They also feel a bit flimsy and not supportive enough. I'd prefer more support, but again, he's comfortable.

I have to agree with other reviewers, these shoes do not last. The body of the shoe still looks brand new but the toe area has worn through and there are holes. I do not expect this poor quality of product from Nike, especially for the $ spent.

My kid likes them and thinks they're comfortable, but the rubber at the toe started separating after less than a month (it took long enough that I'd bought a second pair but not so long that I don't feel hacked off)
