I bought this bag for my husband in a medium size to replace his old one (not a Timbuk2). I measured his current bag to make sure I got a size slightly larger since he had commented that his old one wasn't big enough for his current needs. He says the size is perfect for everyday work/gym and for short trips. The strap is very convenient. He has been using it for about 4 months now.

Great craftsmanship, Color, texture - not a single complaint - and perfect for air travel - can have a care on suitcase, and this qualifies as a personal item under the seat in front of you. Medium bag with tremendous utility. Thank you, A happy customer

Perfect duffel that I can use as a gym bag (when necessary) as well as a weekend trip bag. Really high quality materials, and plenty of space. Very happy with this purchase!

This is a great little bag. It's sturdy construction is superior and even better than most hard sided bags. The straps are heavy duty and the stitching is solid. The zipper is also very heavy duty. Most rugged bags have that bulky and chunky thick look to them, but not this bag, it is smooth and sleek in design. Even though I've only had this bag a short time, it appears that it will hold up and last for a very long time. I'm excited to check out other Timbuk2 designs based on how happy I am with this bag!

Took this as my carry-on bag for a 4 day trip and it was perfect- fit everything easily (even fit a jacket and umbrella in the bottom zip pocket!). Fits well in overhead bins, even on a packed flight, and I was able to squeeze it under the seat in front of me on the way back when the overhead bins were all full.
The only downside to this bag is that there are no pockets on the inside- it's a very basic duffel bag. Seems well constructed though and looks like it will last awhile.
Strap was pretty comfortable for carrying through airports, but would not be comfortable if you pack this full with heavy stuff.

This bag is great! It's my new go-to bag for weekend trips. It's super sleek and has a lot of space for a very compact and lightweight bag.

This travel bag has survived the bi-polar weather of Seattle, including rain and hail, without issue, or damage to the contents. It has a rugged, yet comfortable feel to it, and I've carried 20 lbs or so around without issue and no measurable discomfort from the straps. I've been actively using it for a month now and have yet to see any signs of wear and tear, so I hope to use it for years yet to come. Most other products I've tried started wearing down or breaking within the first 2 weeks, so this is already a clear favorite for me. I used it as gym bag, cycling bag and just for everyday use. Only thing I don't like is not enough pockets.

I absolutely LOVE this bag. It is great for the gym or a weekend getaway. It's super lightweight but big enough to hold all the essentials. The material is easy to clean and the bag just looks great! I am super happy with this bag and would totally buy it again.

Use this for the gym and for the occasional overnight trip. The pocket on the bottom is great for a pair of shoes and the main compartment is great for a change of clothes and a few essential toiletries. The side pockets are great to put your phone and other small things. The snaps are great and I like that there are snaps on the pad on the shoulder strap so you can move around as you adjust the strap.

This bag has been perfect for my commute to work (I use this as my gym bag that I bring with me to the office daily). I have also used this as a soccer bag and the shoe pocket on the base of the bag is perfect to store your shoes without getting the rest of the items in your bag dirty. This is an all-around great bag that I see myself getting a LOT of use out of.

The Tripper is a presidential level quality product. It is an industry category-king and certainly beats anything I have used. It is premium with excellent texture. It gives me a personality when I carry it. I am really proud to have The Tripper along with me.
There is no doubt, this is a product made for me. There is no alternative in the market at the moment. I will certainly choose it whenever I need to buy one.
I know of the brand but this is the best of the brand I have experienced. I like something that has quality and brings an element and aura of exclusivity. Nothing comes close.
For people looking for a traveling bag for the road or even for sports events, The Tripper is the right choice. The cost is certainly a good investment. This product rocks and I give it 9/10. The loss of one mark is because I would have chosen a different color. Black is great but I am a blue person for the gym.
I am enjoying it and have made fans at work on those that want to experience this premium quality.

I use the bag when traveling via airplane or long road trips. It is an amazing bag and the size and comfort of it are perfect. I even can put cold items in this bag with cold packs in the bottom zipper area and it keeps things cold and fresh in it also .

I travel a lot and I needed a nice bag for my carry on. I am glad that I went with this bag because it is very sturdy and amazing quality. I can fit so much in my bag and not have to worry if the strap is going to break. If you are second guessing wether or not you should get this bag , I definitely recommend that you do. Over all it's an amazing product, by an amazing company. I couldn't ask for more.

Subtle styling, good material quality and very light. Great mix for the duffel bag that you just need to toss and go in a moments notice. I do wish there were one more set of pockets in the interior or on the opposite side but it's a small thing vs. the ease of use.

This is a great bag to take on a weekender trip. It has a large main pocket that could fit a few days of clothes, separate shoe/dirty laundry pocket on the bottom of the bag. Has grab handles on the sides of the bag for stowing away in the overhead bins on a plane. I'm a light packer and this is perfect for a short trip. I appreciate the handle strap and crossbody strap with padding - also love the Rebel colorway!

A simple medium size duffle is perfect for weekend travel. Plenty of pockets and compartments. This is my second Tumbuk2 bag no regrets/complaints. I will continue to purchase their products.

Perfect size as a weekender. Got a great deal at the Timbuk2 outlet store. Love the zipper compartment on the bottom to lug shoes separately. But, yeah, needs WAY more pockets for passport/travel docs (RFID, ideally), water bottle, devices, wet bag, trolley sleeve to hook onto carry-on luggage, etc.
Would've been great if it had the functionality of a diaper bag (minus the changing pad) and maybe a couple more color options. But quality is hard to beat -- and the price was right. If I was a millionaire, I would've bought a Dagne Dover bag.

Great bag. Simple look, straightforward design, easy to carry and nice size for my use (splitting time between two locations so I'm constantly packing an overnight or weekend bag).
The bottom zipped compartment is advertised as a shoe compartment but it's completely flat and while it can technically fit shoes, they get smushed and it causes the bag to splooch out and not sit flat. I wish it were a simple shoe tunnel like other mfg's have. As it is, I sometimes put a laptop and mail in the bottom pocket but obviously I have to be careful not to set it down to hard. I end up putting shoes inside the bag. Not ideal because one of my primary desires in this bag was to have a functional shoe pocket to keep them separate from my clothes.
The exterior pockets are a bit small so I don't trust that anything will stay in them. Would like them to be slightly larger and have some kind of closure system.
Overall a nice looking, lightweight and functional bag, just has two major drawbacks.

Timbuk2 the tripper duffel bag is great. its construction is very durable and thick. I only have been using it for past 2-3 weeks and it seems like that it will last longer than other duffel bag that I have used in the past. the material seems to be thicker than my last Nike duffel bag. and also it would resist some water and stains easily as I am looking at it. the strap and shoulder pad is constructed very well and thoughtful. Pad has nice cushion for support and strap seems to be think and strong. The handle also looks very durable and comfortable for grabbing. I really like this bag except the size is way smaller than I expected. It is bit crowded to be every day gym going with pair of shoes and clothes and towel in it. I wish the bag was little bigger than it was. The design is good and the color is bit darker than I anticipated.. Perhaps, different color scheme might be better option. Otherwise, it is well made and well constructed for daily use. I highly recommend it and if there is bigger size, that will be perfect for my gym and daily use.

This bag is just understated without all the frills that can clash with your daily wardrobe. I love the detail of the stitching, its sturdiness, and it appears to have reflective stitching on the zipper pulls. NICE!
Not many pockets but that's okay because everything I need fits nicely in its spacious interior and the convenient compartment underneath. Nice wide shoulder pad, COMFORTABLE. I don't feel weighed down during my commute..
I've received compliments on it already and it hasn't even been two weeks.
I dropped a star only because side pockets didn't have zipper or snaps to close, otherwise,
I'M A FAN!

If you hate to travel with rollers, and can pack a few days worth of stuff in an easy to carry duffel the Tripper works nicely. The main compartment is pretty spartan, so don't expect a bunch of pockets or dividers inside. The grab handles are nice (but not padded) and the (pink) zipper pocket adds a great pop of color to the olive/black bag. Its also the right size for your huge phone and wallet. I like the grab handles on the front and back, so you can grab it from any direction. The only thing I don't like is that when the bag is empty, the material is not very stiff so the bag collapses. This is not a problem when the bag is full and it also makes it easy to stow away when not being used. If you just need a simple good looking duffel that is not too expensive or huge, the tripper is a good choice.
