I bought my pair just over 2 years ago (Jan 2019) and they were my 'go anywhere' boots. Any conditions, any temperature, nothing stopped these. I loved them so much. It broke my heart to see that a large tear on the side by the ball of the foot. The best part was they were still waterproof with the tear. Great product, lasted 600km of tougher than average hiking in the arctic, desert, and muddy trails. I'll definitely get myself another pair soon.

Purchased and used over the last 2 months, great boots fits like a glove , was a bit concerned as I have purchased in the past Salomon trail Running shoes and they were a bit tight but these boots are perfect fit maybe the walking boots are a wider fit. I normally have shoe size 9 but went for the half size up 9.5 they have a good width my feet are 4&2-8ths inches wide - 107mm wide. Easy to walk in great support all round good surface grip and light. They also have side hooks that allow you to grip the laces so it is easer to do the laces up.

I bought these a year ago as I hike across my farm everyday for a good hour or more. I've worn these in rain, snow, hail and sunshine in mud, on grass, on gravel tracks etc and they've been amazing. Strong, tough and supportive with amazing grip. These boots were comfortable straight out of the box. A bonus for me, is that having busted my ankle in the past, these boots really support my feet and are super stable. Would highly recommended. Perfect for a weekly hike, or like me, a daily work boot.

Best boot I have ever purchased. Totally waterproof even when submerged for hours. Great ankle support, I tend to roll one ankle and this saved me many many times. Have done short 3-5 mile and multi day 20 mile back country trips with these and I will never buy another brand or model. I have put over 400 miles on my current pair and they still hold up great though I suspect along the seams the waterproofing will start to fade, time for another pair. They are heavy, but not for what you get, I will take them on any hike, dry, wet, summery winter and even when weight is at a premium.

I bought these boots to wear as a duty boot. They're truly amazing to wear all day while on shift. I like them so much I bought another pair in a different color.

Fit is outstanding, very comfortable with no need for a break in period. Roomy toe box, have used Asolo in the past, and was unhappy with how narrow the shoe was and the toe box. This shoe just fits and feels better.

Second pair of these, and I have really liked them. First pair still going strong, I just wanted a backup pair.

Just purchased a new pair to start the break in process. My old pair is approximately 4 years old and still performing well, but starting to show their age. These are my go to shoe for not only our hiking excursions but spring turkey hunts and fall scouting as well as summer outdoor activities. The boots do take quite a bit of time to get broken in, but once break in is done they are absolutely the most comfortable and supportive hiking boot for moderate hiking. If you are an "extreme" trail hiker you may want a stiffer boot.

I did plenty of looking around for the perfect all around boot and found it! I tend to roll my ankles regularly and the QUEST 4D 3 GTX provides exceptional ankle support, is very comfortable and don't weigh a ton. I originally purchased them for backpacking and hiking but sense have turned them into my daily drivers! If you are looking for an awesome hiking boot or daily driver - look no further the QUEST 4D 3 GTX is the boot for you!

This is my second pair. Great support that is super comfortable. I wear these on light trails, on mountains, and daily running errands. They look great with everything. I have wide feet so I had to go a full size up due to they don't come in wide sizes

bought my pair of Quest GTX boots in 2014. They have been hiking and hunting all over Idaho, Eastern WA and OR, and Montana. These boots have held up awesome. Can't say enough about them. They are the most well rounded boots I have ever owned. They've been punished in the rocks, mud, snow, creek crossings, and deserts. I'm a big guy at ~250lbs with gear and they have held up well. At over 6 years in these boots I have to say I've gotten my money's worth. They're light, have awesome support, awesome grip. They wear more like a running shoe than a boot which is a point of compromise where you trade a little stability for comfort/weight in more situations. The only negative I can say is that my toes get cold under 30 regardless of my sock choice, but that's not even a negative because this is an uninsulated boot. I'm sad to say they're starting to break down as my feet have been getting sore after long days in these boots where they haven't before and they're starting to let water in so it's time for a new pair. These are the perfect boot for hiking/backpacking and can be used for mountain hunting, but may not be the best choice for every situation. If you're looking to buy one pair of boots that will perform well in most situations these are them.

I bought these for backcountry SAR work, because I needed stiffer soles and more ankle support for steep angled slopes. I didn't want a "frankenstein" boot weighing 3 pounds each, as we cover a lot of terrain. These were recommended by some of my teammates. First two searches, on steep side slopes and drainages proved their worth. My feet were not as tired at the end of the day, and I never once felt like I might roll my ankle. The weight was just fine, and I barely noticed it over the course of the day. My big concern was width. I have a wider foot, and did not want to feel like I was wearing ballet shoes all day. While not as wide as a Keen for example, these were well within the comfort range when wearing one pair of thick hiking socks. I am not sure how they would fair if I needed some thicker socks, but that's when I break out my snow-and-ice boots anyway. The lacing is one of my favorite features. The lace lock right at the ankle bend is so convenient and effective at helping me lace snugly without wrestling with the knots. All-in-all I am very pleased with these boots. The fit my needs almost perfectly. I would not reach for them first for long fast hikes, nor for snow and ice, but that's not why I bought them. I don't believe there is such a thing as a "one-boot-for-all-situations", but this covers a whole bunch of them for me.
