Love this shoe! If you are looking for something more stylish than sneakers, this is a high performance commuter or walking shoe, with excellent flexibility, fashionable style, and very lightweight. The shoe runs medium to narrow so if you tend toward wider widths, this is NOT your shoe. It also tends to run at least a half size smaller. For reference: I wear a size 8 in Nike, and the 8 in this style fit great, but for everyday shoes I wear a 7. This shoe is very similar to Nike's "Free Run" series of shoes, but with added style. The shoe is incredibly lightweight, and offers a great flexible nubby knit body which molds to your foot. The footbed is not uber- supportive, but there is moderate arch support. What the shoe lacks in arch support it far makes up for in heel support! The style of shoe is that the back of the sole is thicker, which visually some might find aesthetically not appealing, but it is totally in line design wise with all the high end performance athletic shoes and it gives tremendous heel support without clunky weight. Personally, I think the higher heel makes the shoe look a bit dressier, almost like a wedge shoe. Five star shoe, very good quality. High five Hush Puppies! Like fashion forward Kenneth Cole style but with Hush Puppies comfort.

These were very comfortable right out of the box. However the sole has no traction on smooth surfaces, therefore I regrettably had to return them.

Cute, but no. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8. My foot is a little wide at the ball so I can wear a medium that runs wide, but most wides are too wide. This one, the 8W was very short - my toes hit the tip of the shoe - and narrow. An 8.5 W was longer, but not wider. The soles are very soft and flexible, and slippery on smooth surfaces. So, no support and no traction. Too bad because they were cute. Were.
