The lateral support is fantastic. The toe box is roomy. The look is all game.

Different than other boost shoes with lots of support

This was a good shoe with a great fit. The only issue I had was a few cosmetic errors.

The ankle lockdown and suppport was great. The boost cushioning was awesome. It's a pity the stiff rubber on the toe box dig into the top of my feet. It was unbearable to walk in them so I had to return them. If that toe box was all mesh like other Barricades, it would have been perfect!

Unlike your running shoes the ankle is not cut low enough.

The shoe fit a bit snugger than the 2016 version and has a rigid plastic piece on the arch that sticks up a bit higher that caused blisters on my arch. Currently hunting for a different pair because I can't use these.

The shoe has metal eyelets. The upper set of eyelets dug into my inner/upper ankle during an hour of tennis. The eyelets cut into my skin of both feet causing my feet to bleed! Bled all over the inside of the upper shoe tongue and laces! I wore the shoes in the house to break them in for over a week but you can't get around the metal eyelets. The shoes have one hour of tennis on them and I'll never wear them again.

Used to really love barricades but with every update/iteration, it seems that Adidas cares less and less. I haven't even worn the shoes for a week and the heel lock has fallen off. When I called to ask about this issue, the lady on the phone admitted that the new barricades have had a lot of issues and that I should look into getting a different tennis shoe. Really sad because the BOOST is extremely comfortable, but Adidas seems to be cutting corners and not enforcing quality inspections.
