The Fresh Foam Zante Z4 is a great, lightweight running shoe. I am currently using the Zante as my speedwork and race day shoe. I use the 880 as my easy run shoe. The Zante fits a little closer to the foot. I went up a half size from my normal running shoe.

I just received my V4 and the comfort is outstanding. Very light, the width is just right. Overall a very complete shoe in looks and feel.

The shoes felt amazing. They felt lighter but it didn't feel uncomfortable. I wanted these to do quicker runs and today I was able to cut significant amount of time on my 3 mile run. It felt cushioned even though it had less cushion and it felt like they were Formed around my feet. Really great shoes. Maybe it was foam at the bottom that made it feel this way. I would recommend for sure. I'm new to running and have been using Brooks Ghost 9 and 10 and these are similar to the 9s just a little lighter and better.

New Balance seems to have gotten the idea that runners now have narrower feet beginning about 2 years ago. Too bad for a company that had always been known for their wide toe box. I like the style of these, and they are comfortable enough. If the narrow toe box is too much of a problem, I'll have to resort to a razor blade for adjustment. I should note that the tongue design that is anchored on both sides does make it a bit tight getting on if you have a high instep -- not much give there.

These shoes are nice looking, but so narrow (1/2 inch more narrow than my other New Balance 2E shoes), that I cannot possibly use them, especially given that the toe box is so narrow to start with. I am sorry to have to return both pair in 9-1/2 and in 10. New Balance men's shoes are the only athletic shoe I can wear, and there are fewer and fewer with a wide toe box and full support in the whole shoe with a wide option available.

I had read prior reviews and read that these shoes ran 1/2 size small. So ordered 1/2 size bigger and fit great. Put my XP3 Foot Leveler orthotics in them and fit great.

Smooth running shoes. Had to get rid of other pair of shoes once my knees started hurinting when running outside. Got these and they're doing the job.

Since I wear size 14 shoes, I've been a NB fan for a long time. My foot tends to be a little narrow, and this shoe in MEDIUM fits almost perfect. However, some may think it's a little too narrow if they normally wear a medium or slightly wider shoe. Just a FYI. I love the fit

I purchased these for a gift for my son-in-law. He has problems with plantar fasciitis and this is why he felt the shoes have no arch support. That being said, he reports that if you don't have any problems with that, the arch support is fine. He has his own inserts, which made the shoe great for him. Style and comfort are great!

I like new balance. The toe is a little different from the pic as in more pointy but merely cosmetic. The breathe well and are comfortable. The back heel could be more reinforced but will do.

I really love these shoes for casual, about town sneakers. These are my everyday sneakers. They're light, comfortable and I like the style. My only gripe is that they're like half a size smaller than a true 13. Fortunately because the mesh upper is so soft, there's give and it doesn't really bother me that much right now. But it's noticeable. And over time I think it might bother me enough that I have to try a different shoe. Especially if I have to walk in them for long periods. And I'm sure the 14 would be too big so I'll probably have to end up trying a different make or model.

These are a great pair of NBs. Very lightweight, but still sturdy. I always use an insole, also from NB, due to high arches. But even without these are still a good fit. Only gave four stars because they get dirty too easy. But should be a quick clean.

The Zante is the best running shoe I have owned. I have the v1, v3, and v4. I love the v4, but it still seems inferior to the v1. While the upper does fit better around my foot with the v4, the v1 cushion and ride were far superior. The sacrificing of the cushion that the v1 had didn't seem worth it to me. Please bring back the v1 with new (maybe more muted/neutral) colorways.

I was coming from an adidas adios 3 and needed a little more cushion for longer runs. Right out of the box the v4 is light and cushioned but still give me a low to ground feel. Have clocked about 65 miles thus far and I am very pleased. One thing I will say is the grip on the shoe is almost too good sometime I feel like I get the shoe a bit stuck. Very happy with my choice.

I've tried a couple NB models. Have never really found one I liked enough to go back to it for the next purchase. Until the Zante V4. Great shoe. Light weight. Plenty of support. Only complaint is the insert slid WAY forward on the downhill portion of an extremely wet run this weekend. Required me to stop and fix. Not a problem for a training run. Would have been a disaster for a race. Seen a fellow runner, in the exact same shoe, carrying his inserts at the end of his run. He had the same problem, and decided to run without them was the better option. I may try and epoxy them in ... not sure at this point?
