I recently purchased this pant in asphalt in size 4. I'm 5'4" and about 118 pounds. My other Royal Robbins pants are all size 4 and this pant fit true to size. I do not agree with the other review about the high waist and narrow hips. The waist has more of a medium rise and I did not find the drawstring added bulk. The leg is narrower than my Cardiff pants but not tight at all. The regular length is a hair longer than what I would usually purchase and many of my pants are 31" inseam, but the length is easily adjusted with drawstrings. The asphalt color is a really good dark gray. It does not have a blue, green or purple tint as so many grays do have. I did wash the pants (by hand) when I received them to see if the wash removed shipping wrinkles and to test the drying time. This met my expectations and these will definitely be wash & wear travel pants that I know will dry overnight. My only negative is that the zippered leg pocket will not hold my cell phone and I have a regular sized phone; however, the phone easily fits in the front pockets, which are deep enough that the phone will not fall out.

I needed a pant that I could wear to work (indoor and outdoor retail) and something that would breathe and not be too hot. I also enjoy hiking. They are awesome. I bought an 8, as I am 5’4 1/2” tall and weigh 145 lbs. There is a waist drawstring, but it is so short, it serves no purpose. I might replace this, as it would be handy to keep the waist in place during activity.

I have a pair of the jammer capris and was hoping for something that would be the same, but year round. When I first pulled them out of the bag I was worried they would be see-through because the material is so thin....but it's not. Totally opaque. No panty lines ;) The one thing I do NOT like is the drawstrings on the bottom. Seems like a great idea to easily convert to capri...but what ended up happening for me was that there were annoying string ends knocking against the inside and outside of my ankles. Five minutes of wearing inside and it was a hard pass, that constant fabric knot presence dangling around would annoy the heck outa me. Might not be an issue for someone with less sensitive skin :)

These fit me perfect.. I am 5'7" and about 140lbs..I bought size 8 tall The length and fit are just what I was looking for.

I like the material and how it feels in my skin. The location of the second pocket is great. I just wish it was a bit bigger so my cell can fit there

I'm 5'2 1/2", 145 lbs. Muscular. I bought these in size 4, inseam 31 aka these are size 4 regular. The bottom of the pant legs have drawstrings to turn them into capris, but I use them to shorten the legs a little bit. Only thing I wish these had was a drawstring for the waist. They fall down a little bit after a while, and I need to hike them up. They stretch out a little bit after wearing them. When I first put them on, they felt a little snug, but then they stretched out to be the perfect size. If you want these to be a little more form fitting, I'd suggest going a size down because they stretch. I even tried a size 6, but those were way to big from the outset. Overall, fantastic pants!

Fit well - I am a size 14 and these were figure skimming without being tight. The pocket placement in back is perfect. The front pockets are actual usable pockets - full hand depth. Was able to squat and turn - essential for moving around with kids. Fabric waist band was very comfortable and not tight or slipping down, drawstring not bulky. However, only 3” of drawstring on each side was available to try to tie - and so it’s not really usable. It’s like a size 8 drawstring in size 14 pants. The biggest problem for me is the fabric. It’s possible they just needs washed due to starch or something but I felt like it was grabbing every tiny hair on my thighs and clinging or gripping to me - and it is very staticky. I am typically picky about fabric though.

I really liked the fit (true to size) and fabric of these pants but I just didn't care for the drawstring pant leg.

I love these pants! They are comfortable and are well made.

Great fit, cute and comfy waistband…not too high not too low.

I recommend these pants but: 1) They stretch out a lot while wearing them 2) There’s no string on the inside of the waist or belt loops so because of #1, the waist becomes too big and I have to pull the pants up a lot. I even went a size down hoping this would solve the problem but it didn’t A pair of long underwear on while hiking in cold weather helps keep them up but they fall right down without them I like the pants a lot though

They are big in the butt and thighs for me. These are perfect for big bottom girls but no so great for small thighs and butt.

These fit a bit weird. I ordered a size 4, like I take in all my other Royal Robbins pants, but these felt like the part that fits around your bottom was from a size 2. The rest of the pants, even the waist, still felt like a size 4 though, so it seemed like a strange build?! Fabric is super thin and would probably be very cool on hot days. Have to send these back though, just feel weird to have on. Thanks for making shopping and returning SO easy ZAPPOS! You guys are the BEST!!

Nice length but too tight in thighs.

I wanted these pants to work out, but the fit was way off. While the legs fit fine, the waist was huge. I can't imagine getting a smaller size because then the legs would be too snug. If the waist were adjustable, they'd be fine. I got them because it's been so hot this summer, and I hike every day. Although th fabric was comfortable in the heat, I'm sorry I bought these pants when there are others that are less expensive and that fit better.

The size was perfect, but the pants are awful----the legs are baggy and the fabric feels like plastic.
