Amazingly comfortable. As soon as I put them on I felt like I was walking on a cushiony cloud. And the true test was wearing them for 3 days of non-stop standing at a convention immediately after buying them. Not even a twinge of discomfort after 12 hours on my feet! And I got compliments on how they looked.

These shoes are darling! The gold distressed leather is the perfect color for summer natural tones and goes with any outfit. The shoe straps have a velcro closure at the top of the shoe as well as around the ankle. The sole is so comfy (spongy!) to walk in. About sizing: I'm so disappointed in the sizing. I have been wearing Dansko's for years but these shoes were made 1 size too small. I ordered one pair of size 41 (10.5 to 11) and two pairs of size 42 (11.5 to 12). I'm a size 11 narrow. The shoe was a perfect fit around the ankle but the front of the foot bed was cut way too small for sizes 41 and 42. 3 of 5 toes were hanging off the shoe for both sizes 41 and 42. However, I ordered the DANSKO SEASON in size 42 (11.5 to 12) and these were a perfect fit on me + are made from the same gold distressed leather material as this shoe.

Really like the style of this shoe, and it approaches having a rigid enough sole (required for my hallux limitus, aka big toe arthritis). I wish Dansko made a sandal with a clog-type rigid sole. Age and dexterity issues mean that I cannot reach around to fasten a side ankle buckle, thanks, Dansko, for making sandals with velcro fastenings. The toe strap is a buckle, but usually I can find a comfortable setting and then leave it (but it is nice to be able to adjust for swollen feet days).

OMG FINALLY GOLD DANSKOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUCH A HAPPY BRIDE! Please make more fun colors and lots of metallics and maybe more delicate/less chunky uppers. SO support and my wide feet with a high instep and high arches are in heaven!

I love these shoes! Bought them to wear to a wedding and they’re perfect. The gold is a very nice tone. Not at all cheap or brassy. I love the style and the fit is perfect. I will say that I ordered one size larger than usual, based on reviews saying it seemed to run small, and I’m glad I did. I have a wide forefoot and this shoe fit perfectly after I adjusted the toe part with the buckle. The shoe is so comfortable that I won’t even need a break-in period. So happy with this purchase!

I love this shoe. I have size 40 and it firs perfectly. In flats I take 39 but 40 is perfect. I just ordered this same shoe in gold. I don't like gold and wish it were white but it is comfortable and will be nice at Christmas season for dressy stuff. Great shoe.

I bought these shoes in the gold and they did not disappoint! They are beautifully made, very stylish, and extremely comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing them when I travel to Europe soon.

These Dansko sandals are very comfortable, the style is very attractive, and the color is one I can wear into the fall.

I have a Dansko addiction. Dansko shoes are consistently comfortable and offer great support. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and Dansko's never hurt my feet. Excellently constructed and durable. When my Shari's arrived I was pleased to see that they were much better looking in person. Instantly comfortable out of the box and I've received a bunch of compliments.

Awesome right out of the box. True to size fit. Gold metallic classy, not too flashy. I love them.

I had foot surgery about six months ago and my foot is still a little swollen so I ordered the Shari sandal because it had Velcro adjustments across the toes. I originally ordered my true size and I felt my toes were hanging over, I then ordered the next size up. They are very comfortable and give good support. Thank you danskom for having afpdjustable supportive sandals.

This is my second pair of Danskos and once again, they are incredibly comfortable and cute. I have walked in them pretty frequently this summer and have never had any blisters or sore spots. Velcro closure is convenient (but noisy, if you're trying to adjust them in a quiet place).

Great shoe - just need a bit more support! Having some foot issues at the moment.

I am thrilled with these shoes. I have a problem foot (surgery x 2), and so many "comfortable" shoes are not comfortable to me (even some Danskos, although I do love this brand). Furthermore, wearing a heel of any height nowadays usually does not work for me either. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box as other reviewers here have said, and this even though they have a heel! Finally, a cute (actually, adorable) shoe that I can wear with skirts to work and not be hobbling around in pain. I wear a 7-7/12 and the 38 was just right for me. I need a little extra width in the toe box, and these have that too (plus the adjustable strap across the toes helps). I wish they made this shoe in more colors!

Finally I got a Keeper! These Dansco are terrific. Just enough lift with the heel and wedge to make me feel like standing up straight because they do not hurt my back at all. I just wish they came in other colors besides black, gold and white. Summer is nearly over for white and gold is floozy. Black is good but red or blue suede or hard leather would be great. The "sister" sandal comes in other colors and that's a great fit too.

I've been wearing Danskos for many, many years and this is the most comfortable pair I've had right out of the box. The velcro on the ankle closure provides more adjustability than other styles and I think the toe strap is wider than other styles as well. They immediately provided cushiony support and look great. I especially like that the closures and accents are also black and blend right into the design.

I absolutely love these shoes. They were comfortable from day 1. I can wear them all day and my feet do not hurt that night. I have a hard time finding shoes that work well with my plantar fasciitis; but these are perfect. I wish they came in more colors - like brown and navy.

I wear an 8.5-9 shoe. Usually I can wear a 39 EU sizing. However, with these, I had to get a 40. My toes are just at the edge. I am debating on getting a bigger size. I hate my toes being close to the edge (like right on the edge).

Really comfortable. I have very narrow feet and Danskos are often too wide for me. This style is great in that both straps are adjustable with Velcro, and I could actually make these tight enough.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable! I wore them all day right out of the box and it felt like I was walking on foam, yet my feet were firmly supported. The shoes can be dressed up or down, worn with a dress or skirt, or with jeans or shorts. I wish more colors were available!

These are going to be great! The support is excellent. The heel height is about perfect. I walk and stand on my feet most of the day. On top of that, my feet can swell in the summer. They are comfy right out of the box. Beware Dansko’s sizing, however. They run small. I have BIG feet, size 11. Knowing this, I bought the 11.5-12 size and they just barely fit in the length. I cannot wear any Dansko shoes that have a closed toe. My toes always rub against the front. I swear, I am not a Yeti! Anyway, buy these sandals! They look great with everything from comfy to semi-dressy. And, your feet won’t be crying at the end of the day. I know I’ll get tons of compliments on these. ??

Super comfortable, stylish shoes! I purchased them for a work trip to Barcelona where I’ll be doing a lot of walking. Can’t imagine a better shoe for summer. I
