I fell hard for Dansko sandals last summer. I tried Vera at a local shoe store, and it wasn't long after that I had four more pairs of the leather-lined cork sandals (Vivian and Vera) in different colors. Valentina is new this year, and it did not disappoint! All these styles have excellent arch support, use soft, supple leather in the upper and the sock liner, and immediately feel like walking on air. Absolutely my favorite line of shoes for comfort, EVER. If only a similar product could be made for the months I can't wear sandals!

Zappos did a terrible job photographing these shoes. The blue is much darker than in the photo (deep navy) and the gold is a very hard yellow/brown gold - also much darker than the photo. Pros: much lighter-weight than other Danskos, soft footbed, soft upper Cons: 1) Very loose (not like it's too big, more that the leather is far away from the top of my foot and doesn't hold it in place) - and I have a relatively wide M foot. 2) The velcro closure faces forward so over time, as the velcro curls from being pulled open, the curl will be really obvious looking at it head-on. 3) The white plastic between the footbed and the soul looks very nurse-shoe dowdy in real life (not terribly noticable, but there)

I ordered both the Valentina and the Minka in the gorgeous blue color. My plan was to choose which one I wanted to keep and which to send back. I am having a very difficult time deciding. The Minka has a bit of a heel and heels always make my back arch a bit. The Valentina does not hurt my back and both are comfortable and funky. I am thinking I will start doing my back strengthening exercises so that I can keep the Minka. I may also order the Minka in the beige and keep the Valentina in the blue because both pairs of shoes are so fabulous. I ordered both in a 39 which is my usual size for Dansko. My feet are slightly wide and Dansko's 39 has always been a perfect fit. My usual brand for summer is Vionic because my feet pronate. In the Minka, my feet do not pronate because of the heel height. I'm not sure if my feet pronate in the Valentina, but if so it isn't much and they are worth it for the style.

This is such an adorable shoe. I normally wear a size 40 in most Danskos however occasionally I have to order a 41 for a roomier fit such as the Shirley boot. I originally ordered a 40 in this shoe. The length fit but because of the fact that I have extremely high arches I ordered a 41 to see if that would suffice and it did. The length was a little longer in the 41 but I was at least able to get my foot into the shoe without too much pressure on my instep. The velcro straps allowed me to adjust accordingly and therefore did not make to shoe feel too big. The 41 was slightly wider in the heel area than the 40 but since I have a narrow heel & a wide toe box this shoe accommodated both of those aspects. I’m a sufferer of plantar fasciitis so I’m always skeptical wearing such expensive shoes that may or may not feel good by the end of the night. I usually have to pick comfort over style in my shoe choice. This one knocked it out of the park for me though. I felt like I was walking on fluffy clouds all night. My feet did not hurt one bit. I haven’t worn them for an extended period of time such as walking around a European city all day but I’m willing to put them to the test. At the very least I know I can dress up my outfit with these beauties and not sacrifice comfort. The bronze color is gorgeous. The black ones are next on my list. Good job Danskos & good job Zappos for the painless exchange in sizes.

I really wanted to like these shoes, they seemed very comfortable, but just too much shoe for my foot. I really didn’t like that the ankle strap overlapped to the front. It seemed backwards & stuck out.

I ordered these for a special occasion and I was sure Dansko would save me yet again- but these are the least comfortable of all the Dansko shoes I own (short boots, tall boots, heels, and 3 pairs of sandals). The footbed just is not padded enough for me and after a few minutes my feet hurt. I'm trying all kinds of inserts but not many work in sandals. Still hoping to find something that allows me to wear these comfortably.They look gorgeous.

The arch of this shoe was very uncomfortable on the medial side of the instep. Can’t say if it is a flaw in the shoe or just not a good fit for my foot but have never experienced this before. Had to return them.

True to size, with decent arch support and comfortable too. The leather is soft and hasn't needed any breaking in. Most importantly they are super cute as well!!

I love this little shoe, though I wish I could find it (or a similar style) in silver, which evidently hasn't been in vogue the last few years. The pewter color is fine though. So comfortable, a huge issue with me due to bunions on both my feet! I do agree with several other reviewers, however, that the front strap should overlap the back one, rather than the other way around. That reverse overlap feels (and LOOKS--a bit) like a mistake in design. But I do quite like the shoe! Patty

Love these shoes. I got the gold ones. Not too gold though, kind of muted. Comfortable and I get lots of compliments. The only thing I would change would be the white stripe on the sole, not sure why they did that...

Love them! Totally comfortable and stylish too. I usually stay away from shoes with Velcro but you can’t even tell on these.

SOOOoo cute. Tried them on in a store and couldn’t handle the price so I left without, but couldn’t get the little blue strappy shoe out of my head. No regrets! Lightweight and comfy, good for walking the dog or attend a wedding.

These are great sandals - I've had them for about two weeks and have received many compliments. They are quite comfortable. I think they're a bit wide, but not unmanageably so. I'm really happy I bought these.

I have been looking for a lower heal wedge sandal, and these fit perfect. They are comfortable with a good arch support, and a pair, that I will not have to change into to wear to work. I can walk from the train, to my office. They will look great with skirts, dresses, and dress pants.

I usually find dansko shoes uncomfortable but I love these sandals! My feet are a bit wide in front with narrow heels. I walked all over Florence, Italy in these shoes and they were comfy and supportive. They have a low heel but feel like flats and did not require breaking in. I’ve received many compliments about these shoes. They look dressy for such comfortable walking shoes.

These shoes were great on vacation for walking. I would like to have a pair in vvery color.

These fit like a glove. Might try a bigger size but ohh soo comfy and cute. I'm a 7.5 and ordered a 37 and they are just a tad tight..they are stylish and soft.

I love these sandals - the straps are unusual and very pretty. The blue color is unique and gorgeous. I want them SO badly. However, due to numerous sprained ankles on my right foot, my foot has a tendency to turn over on the side so I test this possibility whenever I buy a pair of shoes. Unfortunately, these fabulous shoes felt like they could do that. I highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't have that foot problem

Right out of the box these have become my summer superstar sandals and I've been wearing them with all my outfits. I was hesitant because of the sizing of Dansko products - the wintery closed-toe styles don't fit my long foot (size 12). But these sandals - bronze gods if you will - fit great and are amazingly comfy right out of the box. The leather straps are so soft and don't dig in anywhere. And they are so lightweight I feel like a floating fairy - well, my feet do anyway. My guy finds them sexy (yes, I said it) and when I was at the medical imaging place today I noticed the tennis-shoe-wearing ladies checking them out. I wanted to shout out that they, too, would find these as supportive and comfy and way prettier than tennies. Yet, we know that bronze gods aren't for all. You won't regret investing in these.

I love these shoes- wearing them right now. Super comfortable and super stylish. Ordered in the gold and pewter- both super cute- ended up keeping the gold. Dansko is so great for us with problem feet - so happy I can have fashion, support, and comfort. Highly recommend- can dress up or down. Velcro strap is great.
