I ordered these Merrell Rants as a gift for my son. I had them shipped directly to him within a week of his birthday. He had seen them worn by his brother in another color and loved them. So I found these and ordered them. I was guessing they would be true to fit and hoped they would. Well they arrived at his house the day before his birthday, and they fit perfectly. He was thrilled! I have been ordering these Rants for many years, and hope they continue to produce them. The colors have become more and more limited. They are great shoes, look great and hold up with the most active teens and young men.

Purchased for a European bike trip. Road over 160 miles in two weeks and they performed very well. Most important, they were comfortable when off the bike and walking. I plan to wear them the remainder of the summer when biking, walking or going out in the evening.

A nice looking versatile sneaker type of shoe, it has a comfortable fit and is very light. The support and sole thickness are fairly minimal, so it's well suited as a casual, urban or suburban kind of shoe, more useful for its look than its utility, not recommended for long walks or rough terrain.

Had these for two days so far. Thicker soles than my last pair of Merrels. Pretty comfortable and I like the style. A little darker color than I thought they would be (beluga).

I really liked the look of these and they remain very comfortable, but the durability of the tread is a problem. The bottoms of them wore out very quickly with noticeable wear after only a week or two. After 4 months they have very little grip and the material between the sole and the tread is starting to show. I've had great experiences with Merrell shoes before. This one however is a disappointment.

Overall a stylish and comfortable shoe. Should note the denim has a slight shine to it so it does not have a jean look but more a shinny kinda metallic denim look. We will see how it holds up over time but as of now it’s a comfortable stylish shoe from Merrel and I am happy with the purchase.
