The bottoms were very slippery and the toe box was too small. The leather is very nice.

This is a cute boot, but I found it difficult to put on. For me, the fit was too narrow in the toe, but too wide in the heel. I have a pair of Frye Melissa button zip boots that fit perfectly, but sadly these Carly boots did not work for me.

Am a fan of FRYE but these boots did not work out ... This miss-step was my fault since I breezed over the word "accent" in description of the zippers ... I thought they were working zippers and not just for looks! Found the boots difficult to put on and too constricting around the ankles.

I’ve had my eye on these for awhile and finally was able to get them. I’m typically a 6.5 in most brands but ordered a 7 upon reading some reviews and they fit perfect. They are a little slippery on carpeting though!! But ohh the delicious leather smell... So good. I want them in all the colors.

This bootie felt very good -- though not particularly roomy, I still think I ordered the correct size. Love the style!

My mom purchased these shoes because she wanted a pair of Frye boots! She wears a size 11 shoe but has wide feet. Unfortunately, she could not get her foot into this shoe. The elastic inside the side zippers did not give for her to get her foot in the boot. She has a very hard time finding Frye boots in her size and with a pair that has side zippers. She loved the shoe but it wasn't made for her!

Ordered these in black and brown. The black ones arrived damaged (stain was improperly applied to the shoes and looked shoddy). I didn’t like the nonfunctional zipper as a design element. I think it’s a bit confusing that Frye has another Carly Chelsea boot with a functional zipper, so it was my error.
