Wore these on a rainy day and within literally a minute of walking on pavement outside, the left shoe had soaked through to the sole. NeverWet, sure.

I had read in the reviews that these shoes were larger than expected fit, so I ordered the actual shoe size I normally way expecting them to be a little loose. This is not the case. I believe them to be accurately sized for the 9.5 shoe. For me 9.5s are typically snug and 10s are loose. The 9.5 Dockers are snug but will wear into comfort as the shoe ages. I like the look and the sole and the shoe seems well constructed. I usually break the original shoestrings in 4-6 weeks. The shoestrings supplied look better than average. These shoes are not very stylish, but they are plain and that is the style I like in my brown shoes so I have given them a 5 star rating. They are exactly what I wanted. ..just not fancy.

I've had these shoes for about a week now, so I cannot comment on how they wear. Fit was as expected in both length and width. The overall length of this shoe seems quite long - I think it's just the style. No complaints about the manufacture quality. Stitching was even and consistent, the quality of the materials appears quite good. There isn't much arch support here, the inside sole is fairly flat. The heel pad is a nice feature and positively affects overall comfort. I used mink oil on the shoes when new to aid in waterproofing, protection of the leather, and to soften them a bit as I wore them in. I had no problem when I had to wear them for nearly a full day the first time out. I didn't get any blisters or discomfort. Happy with my purchase and certainly would consider buying them again if I get good 'mileage' on the shoes before they wear out.

Very disappointed. Purchased this shoe based upon the 100% moderate arch support rating. These shoes have no arch support. The inside is flat. Shoe is very tight so no chance of fitting in an arch support. Will have to return.

My husband is NOT picky about shoes, but he said these were so stiff and uncomfortable and tight he couldn't wear them. They look nice and the price is right, but not comfortable.

I wear these almost every day - very comfortable, and durable.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Having owned several pairs of Dockers over the years, I have an instinctive feel for how they're likely to fit. And these shoes proved the point. Plus, the burnished leather looks slightly distressed, which is precisely the look I wanted. Since I tend to take good care of my shoes, these should last many years. Excellent quality, very good value.

I like the classic style and simplicity. It does not have much arch support. I have not tried using in the rain. If it last more than 7 months then I will buy again.

Fit not comfortable

Fit is slightly long. I wear 13 or 14, ordered a 13, and still experience some slight heel-slipping. Wearing a special insole, over the regular insole, helps, but it still isn't perfect. Certainly looks nice, for a relatively cheap price - similar looking oxfords can cost $40-$50 more

I have to return these shoes because they run a half size too long. They felt comfortable when I tried them on.
