Impression right out of the box... Style: Really nice looking boot overall. The stitching gives it almost a hi-top moccasin look. Beware that the color of the leather upper is definitely more tan / sandy than brown but I think it's better that way. The light color of the leather help minimize the effect of scrapes and marks. I imagine these will age nicely. Comfort: Extremely lightweight at only 13oz! I was surprised when picked them up. The sole has a nice cushion to it. Moderate arch (much better than flat chukkas) but I will likely be adding an insert with more arch support. Being brand new, leather is a little stiff but I can tell there won't be much break-in needed. Inside of the boot is very soft and comfortable. I ordered a W as I have very wide feet that are easily irritated. I do not feel any rubbing whatsoever but also no excessive space in the shoe. Typically wear an 11.5 / 12 and the 11.5 fit very well. Durability: Have only worn them around the house so can't comment. I'm weary about the outsole as they are glued not stitched but Redwing claims they are of a durable, cemented construction so we will see. The lighter color will make it more susceptible to stains so I will definitely be treating the weather before exposing to the elements but I'm not too worried about it. Will update review if it becomes an issue.

I first bought the 9.5 which felt small and tight. I returned for them for a 10 wide. They are comfortable and surprising light.
