These are my first pair of SPD shoes. Got the medium width originally which didn't fit me, Zappos sent me the wide pair which fit me perfectly. Pleased with my purchase.

zappo.com is one of the best websites to deal with. they gave me express shipping in my first order .although I selected the wrong size, they helped me to return my order. they also shipped the correct on the same day, and I received my order the following morning. customer service is really great customer service. I highly recommend it.

Great product. It does not come with the clips but those can easily be picked up on line or at a local bike store. Zappos customer service is excellent. I ordered these one day and received them the next.

I have wide feet and wear orthotics. The SH-ME2 shoes fit me better than any other bike shoe I've ever tried. They're sturdy, and hold up in pouring rain. No complaints. I also tried the Shimano SH-RP300 and they didn't feel nearly as comfortable.

Ordered these shoes, tried them on, and they felt great! However, after a few minutes in the shoes I realized they were about 1/2 size too small. I am a size 41 and wish shimano's were widely available in 1/2 sizes. I had to return the shoes, which was an effortless experience. Thank you Zappos.com.

I ordered the 10.5 wides and was expecting wider. 9 out of 10 shoes I wear are 10.5s. Definitely wider than standard but they are not EE. I would order half size bigger. I considered reordering and maybe getting extra toe box room out of the next size up but my concern is that the next size up is a US 11.2 so I am going to pass on the reorder. The material actually looks a little cheap but I feel that it would wear well. The shoe seemed like it would have good grip off the bike as the tread was flexible and soft. I liked it but the sizing is off.

Bought these to try with another pair, and they were less comfortable so I returned them. They are attractive shoes and I like how the velcro straps alternate because they felt more secure than other brands I have used. The toes taper, so there was some pinching at the forefoot. Going with another pair of Shimano MTB shoes that have a wide toe box and were more comfortable. Using these for spinning.

Great product but it requires some assembly for the cleats which the instructions do not clearly help with.

For $125 it seems like you don’t get much. The material doesn’t feel substantial, the straps are cheap, and it has a wonky ratchet. I have had two pairs of Shimano MTB shoes going back to 1996 and both of those felt a lot better. I recently had moved to Specialized shoes, but wanted to try Shimano again. It was a mistake. I will be returning these if possible. Sizing: I got a 46 because I am normally an 11.5. My feet are swimming in these. It says a 46 is an 11.2, but it feels more like a 12.

I wear a 8 2E in New Balance shoes without a problem. I should have been fine in a 42 wide according to Shimano website. Lengthwise this 43 was a bit long but acceptable. But ultimately this wide was not wide enough.
