These boots are well worth the price. They are elegant but practical, and I will wear them for years. Just like my other Mephistos. The fit was my usual 38. I was a little concerned about the size of my muscular calves, but they fit me just fine. What I like about these boots is they are as dressy as I will ever need, but are so comfortable. I can't wait to wear them--they are very pretty--nothing clunky or unfeminine or about them. The usual Zappos service went above and beyond this time. Something weird was happening with my local delivery service. My account said the boots had been delivered, but they had not. I called, and Zappos sent another pair. Then it happened again! But Zappos was super accommodating, actually sending a third pair. I changed the address to my nephew's house and received them there. The people at Zappos are just incredible--helpful, courteous, fun to talk to, super efficient. How refreshing that there is a company that does whatever it takes to make things right. I am such a fan of Zappos!

Beautiful shoe and I want to wear it but I could not get my foot into the boot. Such a shame because the design of this boot appears to be a perfect blend of comfort and style.
