My daughter normally wears a 4 but the 3.5 ended up working best for her in these. The ankle / heel area is much more generous than other styles. The 4 in Ariat Probaby style was very snug around the ankle and heel for her (most likely the right fit, but she didn't like it rubbing), but is really loose in this style, even in the 3.5.

Buying my son his second pair! He is 10 and has had the first pair almost a year, wears them 5 days a week or more. We also live on a farm. They have been soaked & in dusty drought and are still going strong! they don't look as good as they used to - have had to polish a few times, so getting a 1/2 size bigger to wear to church & school. These run about 1/2 size larger.
