After having tried a few different styles of Taos boots, I’ve found this one best fits my narrow feet. I added a heel insert and partially zipped the outside zipper which helped keep my heel in place. They’re a little stiff, but I expect they will become less so after wearing a few times. They look great with both leggings and jeans. If you have narrow feet, give this one a try.

Beautiful boots but they ru small & narrow

I loved these boots, and loved the great arch support. They were much more narrow than other Taos shoes, and would not have been comfortable.

I was so excited to order these boots. I selected the gray, which are beautiful and well made. Unfortunately, they run very small. I am a true 10.5 and ordered size 42, which is between an 10.5-11 and the largest size available. These boots, in a 42, are equivalent to a true size 10 in most other brands. I measured them against the soles of another pair of boots, and these were almost 3/4" shorter. It's great that Zappos sells 10.5, because most retailers do not. Now the manufacturers need to get it together and fix the inconsistent sizing. Fabulous boots, just order a couple of sizes to get a proper fit.
