I love these shoes! They are as beautiful as the picture, and I could comfortably wear them for my entire 12 hour shift that includes lots of walking around. I had ordered a half-size up like I did for my other Taos shoes, but found that they were too big and sent them back and ordered my regular 8.5. In my opinion these shoes run true-to-size. They are just slightly wider than I’m used to for my foot, but not so wide that they’re uncomfortable or slip on my feet. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I really love the look and design of the shoe, but it was too narrow and not enough depth to feel comfortable on my left foot. Present foot issues prevent me from keeping them. :-(

Cute, stylish, comfortable shoe. I wear a size 9 in Taos sandals but had to size up to a 9.5 in the Retro Star and Moc Star. Size 9 in the Capitol is a comfortable fit, no need to size up. The oiled taupe is a neutral grey/beige with a bit of an olive cast. The cap toe reminds me of the Ecco Soft 7, my other favorite sneaker.

This show was so ADORABLE!!!! The shoe was a little narrow for me and the arch support was very good....actually too good because I felt like it pushed on the bottom of my arch and I have a small knot under my foot and the arch in the cushion hurt. I gave this shoe 5 stars because it was so cute and I really wanted it to work. It just didn’t work because of my foot problem. If you have a narrower foot BUY these cute shoes!!

These are very comfortable and fit true too size. They look sporty with jeans and can walk through the shopping malls in comfort which some shoes do not especially on the concrete floors. Am very pleased with them as I have RA and it is difficult to find a shoe that works for my feet.

The leather is a little stiff but these shoes are so comfortable. I have plantar fibroma and fasciitis on one foot and normally wear orthotics. I've been wearing these without the orthotics and my feet feel better than when I wear them! They were pricey but well worth it if it decreases the pain! These shoes are cute and casual. I wear a 7 1/2 and these feel like a 7 1/2. Very happy with my purchase.

This is my second pair of these shoes. They are stylish and very comfortable. I like the arch support and the eveness of the sole. They are also wide enough to give my toes room without pinching.

This is the fourth pair of Taos sneakers that I have purchased. I like that s pair just as well as the others. Great quality, style, and comfort.

Ordered normal size and the Taos Footwear Capitol fits fine. Seemed a little narrow at first but a lace adjustment and not so thick socks solved the problem. Very nice casual shoes but would not want to walk miles in them. Great for errands around town. The buckle adds a little pizazz. Thanks to Zappos for speedy delivery.

These fit my slightly wide 10M feet just fine, and they feel great right out of the box. Better than average arch support for a sneaker. A bonus for me...the black leather is not too shiny or stiff. Like 'em!

This shoe runs true to size which hasn’t been the case with other Taos styles I’ve worn. Cute and comfortable but it slipped too much on my heels.

I have been looking for a pair of shoes for dog shows which require a lot of standing and running on concrete floors. I realized one day that extra grippy soles would help me run better with my fast dog and set out to replace my FInn's, which are comfortable, but not grippy enough. I wanted a lace up shoe for more security. My feet are not wide, but I like room in the toe box, wear injinji toe socks and these fit the bill. I have not used them yet but they are very promising. They have arch support, grippy soles, laces and although casual, I can pull it off with a skirt. will update.

Love the look but not as comfortable as others.

My friend recommended these shoes to me. I love the way they feel on my foot. However, the right shoe toe portion is shaped a little more round than the left. I like the left shoe better. I kept them because they are comfortable, but I wish both shoes looked the same.
