Extremely comfy ride. I like them because they're kinda dressy yet the bottoms are rugged, slip-resistant and good for walking around over city streets, cobblestones, mud, grass etc. They were good for my recent European trip. Comfortable, sure footing, easy to clean and stylish enough to go from the streets to nice dinners. I wanted this hybrid of style and comfort but, amazingly, I get more compliments on the style and color of these shoes than any other shoes I have, even shoes I got just for style. The color and leather is nice and they're holding up well.

I was pleasantly surprised with these shoes. With so many shoes I have to wear a 12 or 12.5 4E for a comfortable fit. Not so with these. They are a true Wide, with ample room for the entire foot, which helps make them really, really comfortable. They also have a tiny bit of style/individuality, so that's nice...a little different than the ordinary oxford. So, if you can get it on sale it is a darn good buy. Still though, there are issues. It is a really thin shoe that is also super light, so I wouldn't want to put them through anything beyond the most gentle paces. This is especially true for the bigger guys out there. If you're a bigger guy who is looking for an every day shoe that you are going to put some miles on, I would advise you to look elsewhere. If you're just looking for something to wear a couple days a week to your office job they'll be perfectly fine. There's no way the little rubber outsole, cheap insole, thin "leather" upper/lower, and lining will last very long. Big guys who spend time on their feet every day walking around would blow this shoe to smithereens. But those guys should be sorted already with pair of high end shoes. If you are that guy and you still haven't invested in a super high quality pair of shoes and are instead looking at Bostonian's offerings....then you get what you deserve. For the rest of us it's a comfortable, light, good looking shoe that will find a nice little place in the workwear lineup.

I got these for my husband to wear to a black tie event- while not quite as dressy due to the stitching that you see around the top, they looked and felt great. Plus he can wear them again- dressy or a little more casual. They are light and comfortable. He usually wears a 9, but exchanged these for the 8 1/2.

I typically go with Clarks since I wear a custom orthotic. Liked the Cognac color so much I purchased them. I was very satisfied when I received them. Surprised by the quality, fit and comfort. Already getting compliments. How well they last is yet to be realized.

This shoe ticked all of the boxes for my husband. He wears a 11wide in dress shoes and the fit was perfect. Out of the box he wore them for a wedding and was on his feet about 8 hours with no complaints. I was concerned that they would look plastic-y but the leather is nice, I especially like the ombre tone on the toes.

The color in both the Cognac and the Dark Brown are quite different than they appeared on my monitor. The color on the monitor was good. The color in real life was blah.

I'm a 14 in all athletic shoe brands but run one size smaller in Rockport dress shoes. The Wide is probably more of a 4E than 2E but I'm fine with that and the shoe is perfect. I only note down style because I feel it isn't the most dressy of shoes: probably best for business casual but would go with a cleaner or cap toe shoe if wearing with a suit.

I originally ordered a size 11 because many reviews said the shoe runs a half size too large. I ordered an 11.5 just to test the fit, and then when I tried on both sizes, I realized that a 10.5 would be better. Now that I have the 10.5s, the shoes fit perfectly. These shoes appear to run at least a half size larger, if not a full size larger. Zappos was great about the returns, with customer service making the returns and providing return packaging slips as easy as possible. The shoes feel quite comfortable as I walked around today. The shoes do not feel stiff and I don't think they really need to be broken in. The material is light, which is actually good, as they are feel lighter on my feet. And the shoes look great as I can wear them casual or more dress up. The soles are supporive, making it more comfortable to walk around.

The fit is good. They are stiff out of the box, will need time to break in. The shoe is well made and the color is a nice medium brown.

Happy with these Oxfords. They were surprisingly light, which I appreciate. Many shoes are too narrow for me, even in EE sizes, but these fit well. I didn't notice from the photos, but they have the thin waxy shoelaces. These tend to come untied much more easily than cloth shoelaces, so I may need to figure out an alternative knot to keep them tied.

I love these shoes! I bought them to take on a two week cruise in November and, because they're so light weight, they were easy to pack in my luggage. I needed dress shoes for certain cruise events and these shoes looked terrific with my sport coat and slacks and even looked better when I wanted to go more casual, as in country club casual. The shoes are so comfortable I can and did wear them and danced in them for hours and hours. Great shoes and I can truly recommend buying them.

Wow … overall, I'm quite impressed. I bought a $150 pair of shoes a month ago (a different color) and they are not as comfortable, not as easy to break in. These broke that trend. Light, very comfortable fit for me and easy to break in. I'm thrilled!

The perfect Pilot shoe (almost). First off, these are airport friendly (no metal shank). They are Rockports so that means they are light weight. The bottom has great grip for those wet walk around on a Glycol or snow covered ramp (no flat slicks for soles). The only things that prevents these from being the perfect pilot shoe: there is a little brown or lighter colored stitching along the edge. That’s it! To be honest, I really don’t mind it that much. Blue sky’s and tailwinds.

A beautiful pair of shoes, but not wide enough for me, even though I ordered the wide size. I wear an ankle brace, so it is admittedly difficult to get a pair that will accomodate the brace.

I ordered three pairs of shoes only one of them being Rockport. Rockport was the only shoe that fit to size. This is a great looking shoe and comfortable.

I love this shoe. It is perfect! I HATE AMAZON SHIPPING! Perfect product, horrible shipping. Cannot trust the carrier to deliver properly to my address.

Great shoe!! AMAZON SHIPPING IS HORRIBLE! Either they don't make an attempt to deliver or they deliver in an unsecured area in the pouring rain. I am literally held hostage at my home on the day of delivery because I can't trust this company to deliver my product properly!

Very comfortable dress shoes all around. I use them with my Service Dress / Class As.
