I live on a farm and have worn Muck boots for a few years, but they only come in full sizes. I am an 8.5 (39 Euro) with a very narrow foot and heel. The Mucks are hopelessly wide, essentially unisex, and while nicely padded, I just slosh around in them. The Ariats come in half sizes, and are far better fitted for a woman’s foot. They are narrower than the Mucks, and thus significantly more comfortable. They are also very nice looking. They might not work so well for a gal with big calves. I’m very glad I bought them. Far better fit than Mucks.

This is a good boot. Less wide than Mucks, the boot gives me more support and is far more comfortable than my Mucks. It’s hard to pull jeans over the neoprene, but not much of an issue. Right now it’s cold and damp with lots of mud, and I have to say my feet are cold. I think an extra insole or heavier socks will do the trick. I’m a true 8.5 (Euro 39), narrow, and the 8.5 Ariats are pretty close. They are well padded in the insole. They are nice looking, too. (I bought mine in green.)

I was concerned when ordering these that the top would be too tight for my calf and the boot might be too narrow because I usually wear wide width shoes. However, these fit great! They are just wide enough in the boot to be comfortable, I could see them feeling a bit too wide if you have a narrow foot and wear thin socks with them. They also fit fine in the calf, and are a bit stretchy so I can shove my jeans into the top if it is really muddy. Have not had them or worn them for long so I cannot comment on how long they last or stand up to daily wear, but they are a much better fit and better looking than muck brand boots. So far I am quite happy with them! Also, I saw some people leave reviews saying that there was a little arch support in these. It is not a major concern for me, but I feel like they don't have much arch support at all.

I chose to go with these rubber boots for doing barn chores in the fall and summer months, so I was looking for something with good support and something that wasn't going to be too hot. I picked this pair of rubber boots out over the Joules Molly, my 2nd choice, and also the Kamik Heidi, and Sakroots Ringo boots. These had the best support by-far of the bunch. They are well made, comparable with Muck boots, and feel similar to Muck boots in the foot bed. All the other pairs I mentioned above were just basic rubber boots set on top of whatever tread they had, which meant that they had no support. I have back issues, so I had to go with support over looks as my priority, otherwise I would have gone with the Joules Molly, which are very pretty & adorable looking boots. The Ariat's are colorful without being flashy and actually give you some cushioning under your feet. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating, other then I haven't had a chance to test the endurance quality of them yet, is that they are narrow in the calf. I am a small person (5'2") with normal sized legs and they were snug around my calf. I wouldn't say tight, but it was enough to feel it. I think as I wear them I won't really notice it to the point of bothering me, but they are definitely more narrow up the leg them most rubber boots I've tried.

These Ariat rubber boots are great. I love the neoprene back that makes getting them on & off easy. Love the neoprene edge at the top, very comfortable. I can't use the piece on the back to take them off, still need to pull with hands. Would love them in black for women. True to size for me. I would need to go up a size if I wanted to wear heavy socks though. I did need to add some extra arch support but I have very high arches. Much for arch support than most rubber boots.

comfortable boots

I’ve been wearing these for work on a sanctuary farm every weekend for over a year. They are awesome. I wear them for about 4-5 hours traipsing through the pastures, hauling hay and water buckets and cleaning the barn stalls and pastures. My feet do not get tired in these. They are comfortable, spacious and even have some support. I never feel in a rush to get them off and even stop at the grocery store after the farm or run errands in them before getting home.

I own a pair of these boots in the black/turquoise and love them. They're the only rubber boot I've found that doesn't rub my narrow feet and ankles raw yet allows for my athletic 15" calf. I normally wear an 8.5-9 and mistakenly ordered these boots in an 8.5. I can wear some Ariat boots in an 8.5, but not this model. Great boots for barn work or checking fences after heavy rains.

The fit is right on for my 71/2 wide foot. Moderate arch support. They are warm along with my thick socks. Only time will tell far as how they will hold up thru my daily work schedule on our farm. They are stylish too, love the teal & gray colors on them.

go through a pair in about a year better durability would be a plus but otherwise happy.

These boots were too wide for my narrow feet. I usually add an extra thick comfort insole to shoes to take up space, but that did not work with these boots. Also, the front of the boot rubbed my shin when I walked. I am 5' 5" so this may not be an issue for a taller person. They do provide exceptional support for a rain boot, so I am disappointed that they don't fit.

I love the foot bed. Super comfortable. With extended wear I have developed a pressure spot on the shin even with jeans tucked in. True to size with room for a thick pair of socks.

I own several pair of Ariat cowboy boots and really like the comfort. These rubber ones have great feel in the foot but the top is way too small and I have an average size lower leg. Not enough room to tuck in even a skinny pant. Regretfully I had to return. The quality and style were excellent , though.

I ordered 3 boots to try. The Ariat was excellent quality being a bit thicker material. Some of the boot is a breathable heavy scuba wet suit type of fabric. This made them comfortable, flexible and breathable. It ran large to me, normally 7.5 got the 8, way to big. It also had a thicker heavier sole than most rain boots.
